then dear say give up on looking at resale now n jus wait for the feb'08 ballot, if stil cant get then buy resale then. i dun hold any chance on the stupid ballot anymore. plus feb'08 one is central towns, total 15 towns loh. how to go squeeze with so many other ppl? these districts sure v v v hot one loh, who wouldnt want to get a flat in central? if stupid sengkang n punggol already 16-to-1 liao then i tink the central one can b 500-to-1. so shit loh. is wait cos wan a cheap new flat fm hdb, bt its even to win lottery than get the stupid number.

tonite gg to meet ah boon + gf n gay + junie for dinner. stil arrangin out the details with dear. he's takin v long to reply my emails. duno hw to go dwn later. arghhh... plus come already. its gonna b a hassle.

now i try n try to call the agent n cant call thru. tink she no batt cos sms oso no reply. WHYWHYWHY mus lk tt???!?!?! arghhhh. if i hav to end up arrangin myself i could hav jus did it on the spot wen she offered 730pm. wa lao. lk one big circle bt no result. pui.

bridal shopping 6 - the final episode

haha... placed deposit with Di Gio already jus now, another thing settled! weee!!! although it is more expensive than The Aisle, we felt more comfortable with Di Gio. the staff there r reali v nice and accomodating, n v willing to listen to wat we want in the package and tailor it to meet my needs. calculate already, if we do not top up a lot of pics (ie 10 or >), we r stil in budget!

got a bit of oversight on the AD VG package tho, we would b able to get it $100 cheaper if we take from outside, bt oh well, nvm la. wen the date draws nearer then we see wana drop tt VG anot loh. thinkin of doing the AD morn montage ourselves, using the AD PG morn pics and do a simple ppt, so can save $200 cos dun hav to ask the AD VG to do it. see how loh.

hapi!!! one more thing settled!! was feelin v tired for the past wks gg to so many bridal shops, to and fro. today gg to Di Gio was the 4th time, ahaha... so pai seh. bought chocs 4 e 2 gals agn, hehehe...

yest's gathering

was a blast! haha... we tot we were the last to reach, cos sup to meet at ard 730-745 n we reached at ard 830 cos dear went to collect hp stuff fm an online seller who was late/disappeared. bt then we were the 1st to reach, hahaha...

so then we ordered kfc n pizza hut, then may came late with a box of choc cake, carrot cake n brownies. haha, then carrot say "ya, everyone here already, can announce" may heard it and went "ya, wats the announcement? wat announcement?" i tink my face went even redder than the traffic light from then (*.*) like caught red-handed, hahah... then goes one round of "wat?", "no la, where got?"...

then dear came over and placed his hands on my shoulder n made the announcement. hee. i din noe where to look. feel so "luan", hahahhaha... then we talked more over dinner (which came late, hmph!) and everyone was lk "y nv say earlier?"... sori sori... cos:

1) feel tt shld let dennis n anne noe first, cos we v paiseh tt its the same day
2) initially it took some time before we told my parents, so dear was sayin tt shld let parents noe first
3) well, then once parents knew, everythin was so fast - go temple, go fortune teller, go find hotel
4) basically, dear wana announce wen most things r finalised loh..

aft dinner, anne asked "got space for desserts?" and she took out a pot of almond lychee pudding with a v cute card tt wishes me n dear a happy engagement!!! so touched and unexpected!!!!! awwwwww!!! thanks guys for all your well wishes!!! we'll have an informal dinner to share our wedding pics/videos etc!!!

hehehe.... made the header pic big agn. made posts bigger so tt video can appear correctly. tried to add music bt doesnt work leh.... hmmm.... try agn another time.

wanted to find the cold storage advertisement jingle and download it for my ringtone, bt cant manage to find it leh. instead, i came across their "Lets Cook" tab, and found tis wonderful menu for Ice Cream Muffin! so interesting n yet so simple. Unbelievable :

ICE CREAM MUFFINS

What you need (serves 6):
1 cup of flavoured ice cream (melted) 1 cup of self raising flour 1 tablespoon of sugar

What you do:
1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
2. Add sugar, melted ice cream in a mixing bowl and stir.
3. Add sifted flour and fold in till it is well mixed.
4. Pour batter into paper cups.
5. Baked in preheated oven for 15 minutes.
6. remove from the oven and serve warm.

Tips:
You can use any type of ice cream except Vanilla ice cream.
You can add chopped nuts, chocolate chips or fruits.
To make a good muffin:
Do not overstir the batter. Batter should look lumpy. Always baked in an oven with the temperature of 180°C. Maximum baking time is 20 minutes.

had to go back ofc in the morn to handover the NT stuff n do my timesheet. arghh... sup to b lk 15min to do the stupid timesheet bt then cork up!! my name already transfered to RAS bt grade wrong. tried n tried myself bt cant. give up. called IT n they tried bt cant. then ask me call HR. then its 1.29 wen i called. guess wat. they ask me call back later. ARGHH!! give up. decided to do up the manual amendment form so spent time typing out line by line, argh!!

suppose to leave ofc ard 1 n meet dear 4 lunch, bt end up ard 2 then i leave. was rainin wen i walked over to meet dear. :(

dear surprised me by meeting me at esplanade entrance, n hug me fm behind! din noe he was there, ahhaha.... muacks!

ate korean fd, n then i went over to Golden Horse Awards to see if got cheaper than Di Gio. oh well, no. hahaha... then i shop ard, look at nik-naks, look at wedding bands, then dear sms me "talk so long ah?" ahhaha... then i said no la, i walkin ard myself. then i asked if wana wait 4 him knock off anot, then he say 3+ only, go hm rest la. so i went over to shuttle bus stop, n saw it drive away!!! argh!!! fed up, told dear i wait for him la, another 1.5hrs b4 he knock off... hehe.... jus wan him to hug me on the way home, hahaha....

went to uncle mike there in the morn, and then went to The Aisle (3rd time!) to try see if can negotiate to match Di Gio. managed to up the no. of pics to 36, and overall (plus AD PG + VG + montage), its cheaper than Di Gio by $400. of cos got other items (eg 12"x18" album, 2 CDs return, we b the poster couple), bt these items i wun place much importance one leh. the staff oso showed us a TW mag tt shows v nice wedding pics. said they r tryin to reach tt standard.

so dear said they r cheaper, bt doesnt mean they r of lesser std. if they can reali do lk 80% of the mag pics, its reali v gd already. bt i tell him its a qn mark leh. if they cant, n remains as current standard, then its reali bad.

so now its a matter of $ vs pictures. dear kip sayin its nt a matter of $. cos already spend abt $6K, wat is the $400? dun bcos of $400 n spoil/waste the whole $6K.

so now stil stuck on which to take :(

To test this, stare at one spot for a couple seconds and everything will stop moving. Or loo k at the black center of each circle and it will stop moving. But move your eyes to the next black center and the previous will move after you take your eyes away from it.... Weird

went down to Di Gio today with dear. my 3rd time there liao. so pai seh. bought a box of Cadbury chocolate eclairs 4 e two gals, to sweeten them up, ahaha...

dear was hapi with the pics, n we managed to streamline the package to wat we want. wrist corsages r at $8 a piece, so i tink i will prob DIY myself. Another thing we might save on is not to stay overnite at Bintan. bt Amanda n Carrine reali listened to our needs n give us a package tt meets our needs.

guess we hav to make another trip to The Aisle to check if they can match up in terms of the items in the package..... ANOTHER TRIP!!! tired.....

one thing tt surprised me was tt Amanda n Carrine did not pester us lk wat The Aisle did last nite. they were v understanding. so we managed to have our dinner! hahaha... walked over to Maxwell mkt, n i had this big n yummy plate of sotong mee! dear ordered the famous curry chicken mee, n he enjoyed it too :) then went over to Tong Heng to buy the yummy egg tarts, then its off to watch HEROS agn!! our weekly escapade, hahaha!!

met carrot tis aftn, told her abt the BIG news, hahaha... cos dear met up with Dennis last nite, n told him le, so then at least its a form of respect tt he get to know it first n he's cool with the whole ting mah. anyway, we went to Ted Collection n understand abt the package fm the boss. looked at pics n gowns oso... then we left the place go back Tanjong Pagar to Carrot's ofc.

then meet dear at The Aisle, for him to look at pics. wa lao, talk n talk until 10+. i din even hav dinner. 3 against the 2 of us. then aft tt, we stil ran for bus! din managed to catch the bus, bt i was so giddy fm hunger excarbated by the run :(

wen the bus came, i was feelin so bad i wana vomit already. hav to ta han all the way hm n cook maggi mees still...

wanted to go dwn to precious moments bridal actuali. had left hse n walkin to bus stop wen dear sms me tell me too ulu, dun go (its at upper thomson rd). so change track, go tanjong pagar loh.

go temple pray pray, then offer incense. pray tt get blessin for the hse ballotin n a smooth career in my new job... got 2 rude ladies tt jus dun wana q n "chup" in to burn their stuff wen i was still burning.. tsk tsk..

then we went to I-weddings first. package was not cheap. price ard $3388 w/o bintan. comparing to Di Gio, its exp. then me n mum went for lunch n then took her to Di Gio, managed to get a clearer pic of wat i wan in the package. mum also liked the album a lot. then we went for dinner at chinatown n went to Everbliss. it reali sucks. in summary, the poses r the same for each couple n even the props r the same. price oso not cheap. yucks.

decided tt nt much pt to shop ard Tanjong Pagar already, since AL shld hav done it n the Di Gio package is already negiotiated n passed down. will try other areas n c if its better.

bridal shopping

went dwn to The Aisle with mum today. they having a promotion, free bintan trip if sign up by 23/12/07. Package costs $2988, got most of the stuff, bt pics only 30. photography was m'sian style, one pic one pg. she can only show me one "digital" on the comp, bt its lk jus crop pics into heart shape.... got mtv package oso, bt too exp le.... gonna hav to calculate the cost differences bt this n Di Gio.... gown-wise both r ok, no prob. now is jus the pics.... then met up dad take bus 100 go tanjong pagar. was rainin too heavily, cos unable to walk fm the bus stop we alighted. then bus 80 came n dad asked us all to take. took us to Harbourfront bus interchange. then i said forget it, take mrt go aunt's hse str. n he got angry, quarrelled, shouted. then jus cold war all the way to aunt's hse n hm. aunt showed me her wedding video. v nice!! n oso her kua, which she stil kips in a box. me gonna borrow tt for my AD!!

wanted to go shop for bridal packages today, bt was tired n slpt in. plus it was raining heavily the whole day! haha... i woke up at 5 today, hahahhahahahha

tis morn i felt so hapi, i nv felt so hapi goin to work so the longggeeessssttttt time!!!! work up late, smhw the alarm went off n i cont to slp, hahah... so left hse ard 10+, go tanjong pagar buy the famous muffins. they moved to a smaller shop, n i was so shocked to find tt it was nt at where i tot it was. bt asked ard n managed to locate it. Chocolate n Spice muffins. Yums!!

then on the way walkin to ofc, decided to ask GP n ZH if they can meet up for lunch. GP din pick up call, so i sms STW who said ok. went back ofc n CE asked wana lunch anot, so i tot then to keep it within colleagues loh. called LMH n he oso ok. basically i go ard askin ppl myself, yucks. in the end, ppl tt went go eat Sakae (ya, haha... CE wana eat) at CPF building are : STW, LMH, CE, YTG, VT n me loh. its abt $80+ for 6 person. YTG kip askin ist my treat to them, cos other snrs treat him eat. ~ tiao ~

aftnn was spent packing up things n moving them over to the new ofc at City hse. then leave ofc to meet AL at 5, halfway there, she sms sayin tt she will b late. so i called aunt n went up to her new ofc instead. gave her one muffin n oso catch up with my cousins cos they jus finish exams yest.

met AL n went to Di Gio bridal shop. looked at albums n go through package. then AL send me go orch where i waited for dear to cm meet me, then we go his hse watch Heros on laptop....

tis is my eventful day. ahhaha.... peace out guys!

i reali wana express my thanks n gratitude to my 2 GAs tt were with me on 1 of my big clients in 06/07. JN n KG - u guys reali gave me an unexpected surprise n made my day today!

all started on msn with JN (nick was Anybody interested to go Siem Reap, Taiwan or Hokkaido next year?wow!! plannin for next yr?") :

me: (checking who's online) aiya, KG nt in ofc...if nt can lunch tog. cos me fri last day (tink there is timing diff, overlap of msg at tis pt, so the lunch qn timing was weird)
JN: har? where is he? ask him come back la
me: hahaha.. serious? i duno where is he, ahhah
JN: u call him la. hehehe... think he will miss ur voice lo

so tt's hw it all started... went to call KG n then arranged to meet at mrt there. walked over to the jap food tt's beside the Change Alley's Subway, bt then the set meal was lk at least $11, so i told JN too exp le... then she call KG to come dwn fm ground level n we walked over to UOB's Sakae Sushi (JN's suggestion).

had a wonderful lunch!!! din noe Sakae got new menu, so we ordered new stuff to try. first time i eat so many red plates, hahahaha... then KG mentioned that Starbucks giving free coffee at 4pm later, so we made plans to meet n go take fm the OCBC Starbucks later. skip work! hehehe...

they insisted on treatin me to lunch, n i was so touched, cos i reali din expect them to do it for me... i asked JN hw much was lunch, n she say forgot liao, tho we only walked 5 steps fm Sakae..... AWWWWW... they reali r nice ppl..... miss working with them cos we r all fm diff units....

went to closing meeting tis noon for e NT client, mind wasn in the meeting anyway, hahah... then the client commented "so i hear u r moving over to __ ?" wow, out of nowhere he shoot tis. its was lk "errr....", then my mgr quickly say "ya, we r still looking into it", ahahhaha...

oh well, i din get a chance to tell her directly yet, cos she went overseas wen i made the official decision. n tho she is the people manager for our unit, she din play a part in my transfer cos my transfer went through by the direct referal short cut. so was a bit pai-seh tt she had to know it fm the client's mouth. oh well....

oh ya, received sms fm AL today, askin wana meet her for tea-break anot cos she comin to town area 4 an interview. so she tot can bring me over c her bridal shop too. bt timin was diff cos i got to go to the closing meeting (4.30pm reach client's place) and duno wat time the meeting ended oso, so had no choice bt to meet her another time. which was a gd call, cos in the end the stupid draggy meeting ended ard 6.45pm. so much things to talk talk talk, yak yak yak...

i'm gonna transfer

officially accepted and confirmed that i will b transferring over to RAS unit w.e.f 10 dec 07, following my last day on 7 dec 07. promotion n bonus terms look ok, they gonna downgrade me 1 level, bt the pay is downgraded 2 levels, hahaha.... oh well....

no one seems to bother to counsel me at all, so then forget it loh. i dun wana talk to u either. wat logic ist tt sm1 who tendered on fri (wee hrs) get called into The Room on Mon morn vs me who is on last wk of notice is neglected? wat logic given tt tis person is the same grade as me? wat logic ist tt tis person takes over one of my biggest client in 06?

my bday

quarreled with dear v badly in the morn, cos he called me in the morn askin abt the weather n plan, while i had slept late last nite trying to finis up work, so i badly need the sleep. in the end, could nt proceed with the ori plan to go southern islands.

took cab to harbourfront instead, n waited 1.5hrs b4 dear showed up. then went to eat lunch at hawker n went back to wait for sentosa shuttle bus. quarreled agn, cos i asked him y nv say anythin abt being late. then quarrel until he dun wana go sentosa, go to vivo rooftop to talk. decided to resolve, apologise and put it aside and go orch catch movie. at PS, went to carrefour to buy juice n snack bt it was raining v heavily wen we came out, unable to walk to Cathay :(

so waited a while, no choice. i used the poncho and dear used my brolly. bt he was soaked thru wen we reached Cathay. one guy approached us asking where to buy the poncho, n dear jus gave it to him, haha... he was so grateful he kept sayin thanks n sayin tt we r v gd ppl, haha..

turns out no "golden compass", as dear planned to watch tt show. so watched "hitman" instead. dear liked the show a lot, cos got gun scenes n tt naked woman, haha.. quite intriguing for the plot's twist n turns. then went to take bus to the "secret" dinner place, bt the bus ride was so long i fell asleep, hahha.. it took 1.5hrs to reach the dinner place - Forrest at Orchidville.

v unique place, v nice atmosphere. dear say look nicer in the day, cos rainin so the deco looks darker. bt v interesting place, cos can look at the orchids tt were sold/grown there. dear ate up the orchids in the food also, n i was like "i too scared to try eat raw orchids", hahahah...

dear gave me SHARKIE for my present, ahhaa.. its actuali a mouse pad/hand warmer. kip my hands warm wen ofc cold, keke.. so put the hands into SHARKIE's mouth, cute hor?

our makeover

haha... had our makeover today at the Makeover Inc, as i got it free fm my Metro bday gift. so funi, dear was so stiff n looked so funi in the pics! we decided not to pay $28 for them to make-up for dear, cos guys dun reali need so heavy make-up mah. so i make-up for him! hahaha.. n he was like squirmming, kekeeke. nt a lot of pics look gd, cos the PG nv tell me my hair out of place :( stil, we chose one nice couple pic to develop as wallet size, and paid $10 for it, ahhaha... jus one pic bt they develop 2 wallet copies loh. haha, told dear tt's gonna b my 37 mths' present! haa!

b4 tt, we went to look at commonwealth hse blk 74 and 80, which Derrick arranged for us. the area looks lk a lot r rented out to foreign blue-collar workers, so safety is an issue if staying there.

last nite we also viewed one unit at blk 62. too hot, no wind, tho its cheap, abt 220K neg. b4 tt, we went over to look at Jeremy's hse, at blk 79. he renovated until v nice, n his reno also v cheap, less than 10k spent on an original condition hse. he buy the hse oso v cheap, 150k only. sigh, the current mkt price is abt 250k for tt cluster, cos got en-bloc potential. his flat reali worth it loh. n can b showroom of the whole cluster, hahah... reali v nice renovation!

Le Meridien!

emailed Diana (hotel coordinator) last nite enquiring abt the hotel's availability on 1/11/08, and she called me in the morning telling me avai! so then made an appt with her at 6pm to view site and run through package. bt then dear said he cmi, so i ask if can meet during lunch. so re-arrange to 2pm loh.

woke up late so had lunch at hm then went down to hotel with parents. Diana was super nice! she showed us the ballroom then proceed to show us the mock-up settings, and also discussed details in the mock-up room. OMG, she threw in those stuff that we wanted for without us asking at all!!! so happy, hahaha... cos i scribbled so much stuff on the original package on those things tt we wanted to negotiate for, and she jus gave them all to us WITHOUT US ASKING AT ALL!!! wowow! we were so happy loh. told her to arrange for signing of the contract on the spot, and made an appt next Sun, cos she said will hav one couple using next yr's theme tt nite, so we can view first hand. oh ya, she also showed us the invitation cards and wedding favours - NICE! at first i had prep myself for ugly invitation cards, cos forum say only 2 choices and the pink one is ugly. bt the invites were a classy champagne gold or a rich greenish-gold, so i'm v satisfied. wedding favours were also cute, got the hp bear and hp strap (which was quite special), and also the usual wedding couple keychain.

diana said tt we can choose at a later date for the invites and favours, cos might hav more choices next yr fm the supplier. WEE!!!! so happy, cant believe it, we have a hotel venue le!!!!!

then i sent dear back to work via cab n also drop parents off at marina sq b4 gg to work. met up wif dear for dinner at Bao Jing Tian. wow, we ate abt $32, ahhaha... celebrate 37mths, hehehehehe!!

hotel + flat

went down to look at Le Meridien today. wow, the hotel looks so much better than the Carlton. yucks, the Carlton was like so low class. there is only one 2 inch high red rose in one square glass vase loh, and the stage is like just one cake?!?

Le Meridien one is pillarless, and the foyer is more private. the Carlton one was the whole of the second floor, ahhaaha.. guess tt it reali makes a diff whether its 5* or 4* hotel loh. the more spacious and private foyer makes it easier for the guests to mingle around the area, as in got place to stand loh. tonite's deco for the ballroom was a mix of the "garden" and the "crystal" theme, cos got the dark roses (which belong to the crystal theme), and also got the hanging candles arch garden walk way stands (which belong to the garden theme). reali v nice.

read some reviews tt got bra shop beside the ballroom bt din managed to find it leh. mayb move away already.

then we decided to walk to Orch hotel to look at the ballroom. its the most exp out of all our short-lists at abt $1.2-1.3k per table, so we jus wana see if it reali worth tt price. on the way there, agent derrick call us n tell us got one flat at McNair ask us wana see anot. so we said ok, then he said timing to be cfm.

Orch hotel turns out to be having a private boxing charity event, so the bouncer dun let us in. As luck would have it, as we are walking down to the lobby, a hotel manager (distinguished by his suit) walked towards us. haha... so i walked up to him and asked if i can look at the ballroom cos i wana hold my hotel here, heee! then i dropped some names, and he brought me to see the ballroom! pillarless, reali dark inside, cant picture the wedding deco also, as its jus a boxing ring and many tables inside. so we left happily with the package, took a cab fm the hotel lobby to view flat.

disappointed agn. the flat's living room over looks another blk, whose tenants place all sorts of funny things (hang tonnes of clothes, lockers?!?) in the corridor, so it looks v complicated :( the neighbours are also one indian family tt hangs the clothes until this unit's side and another one had one v v noisy barking dog. so we'll PASS on this unit.

sitting at the bottom of the flat also realised tt there are a LOT of indians staying there! went hm myself via NEL n MRT. omg, it takes so long to reach hm. n the walk fm outram park NEL to MRT n the waiting time for the transit train to come :(

went to see carlton hotel today aft work, oh well... the ballroom had 4 pillars, so there would be lk 6 - 10 tables tt would b blocked? duno la, cos today's setting is for 24+2 tables, so already blocked. imagine wat 32 tables would b lk :(

nothin much progress on hse n banquet today. have to decide whether to go 2 e weddin show by carlton tis fri, which starts at 6, bt dear cant make it in time... also, it costs $28 per couple cos includes a 5 course dinner by Wah Lok restuarant. in terms of perks, i tink its jus winnin one nite stay in the presidential suite, so not much incentive to go leh. prob more impt to fix an appt to meet up with the coordinator to see the site n tentative book b4 fri, cos fri sure got a lot of couples will book le... i need gd lucks!!!!! gimme lucks!!!!

oh ya, called up HR today to ask abt possibility of backpay arrangement, n HR say they cant help on it. then the HR gal proceeded to tell me hw unlikely it is tt HDB will grant me the loan, considering tt i earned so much for the past 11 mths. she also said "u earnin so much, dun buy HDB la. if so easy to cheat HDB (ie govt), then all the ptrs all stay HDB liao. buy EC la." i noe she's a nice n chatty gal, bt i feel so disappointed aft hearin wat she said. cos many ppl told me tt too.... m i reali quiting to no avai??? feel v sad... cos they r willin to negotiate with me to make me stay on in the firm... sigh....

so called up lian to hav sm gal chat theraphy, ahha.. then she said she v bored at hm too, so many mths nv work. n smhw the gd job mkt doesn translate to many interviews 4 her leh. she also mentioned that the HDB ting is a case-by-case ting, hope they had nt becm stricter in the past few mths.... :(

anyway, we chatted for a long time, duno got 2hrs anot, ahahha.... talked abt me cant find hotel n her interviews etc... then she went off to hav dinner wif her hubby...

oh me checked up the "fiance fiancee" thingy le, cos dear kept askin me who is who n hw to pronounce, hahaha... so the ans is : pronounciation is the same for both words, with fiancee refering to the gal, cos the french hav a gender specification in terms of spelling.

so today oso spent time calling up hotels, n expanding the list to 4 stars hotels.... no choice, hotels r v fully booked in the last qtr of 2008 le...

oh ya, we also went to Hilton for a site visit. took a look ard the grand ballroom with the wedding coordinator, June. there were pillars in the ballroom, bt they will hav live feed of the weddin. sadly, the min tables on sat (1/11) is 40 tables. n she can only go down to 38 tables. so dear said dun tink we can hav so many tables. sigh....

next choices in the pipeline is Carlton hotel, Orchard hotel or Le Meridien Hotel. dear said Le Meridien looks v low class n lok cok leh, then i said its a 5 star hotel wor. bt he stil dun lk, hahaha... hope we hav luck on the Carlton n Orchard hotel!!! some pics to share on their ballroom:

bings' wedding

wow, was so busy yest cos was jie mei for bing's wedding. reached her hse ard 7+, cos took cab. shared wif jun n wen to go to geylang lor 40, condo... then start to prep the "big breakfast" for TL, ahhaha... we had the norm suan tian ku la, which were lemon, honey, bittergourd and biscuit with wasabi respectively. then came the open door hoo-ha, n TL was made to made a pre-drawn oath and sing a door (wang zi) b4 he can open the door to LB's rm. then we proceeded to alexandra green n labordor park to take pics, n to TL's hse in west coast.

had the tea ceremony there n went back to bing's hse agn at geylang 4 another rd of tea ceremony n lunch buffet. then TL's sis dropped wen, me n jun hm. wen i went hm, talked to dear abt the morn's visit to Bieo Shua Buddha, n he said they chose the 1/11/08 date out of the 3 saturdays. sigh... means we hav v lil hotels to choose fm already. then he oso said they gave him the timin for the other weddin procedures, so we wun b gg back to the Golden Landmark guy le.

anyway, then i started callin up the hotels all over agn until abt 4 then i went to bathe n tried to slp a while. bt was afraid cant wake up in time, so wasn reali in deep slp, hahaha...

oh well, bt stil late cos i reached orch parade hotel at 7+ wen sup to b abt 6.30 to 6.45... hehehhe... stil the dinner was ok, n i left in the middle to help LB change to EG.

met up with WB n her hubby, talked abt job n wedding. mayb will invite her next yr, ahhaha... oh well... :)

wa, took mc today n jus called up all the hotels i can find fm the wedding mag n online search (eg singapore brides n list of 5* hotels). sigh. cant managed to get a hotel tt's avai on the selected Sat tea dates, so now we either have to hav the tea ceremony on a sat then dinner on sun, or cfm the hotel on a sat n hope tt the prev couples r ok with releasing the date.... i need luckssss.....

dear seem to like the idea of havin the dinner at sentosa, bt his mum said v ma fan for guests... for me, i jus ok as long as the banquet hall is nice. i tink we also wan a nice brand name, so tt at least the service n package would b gd. so will nt base on price alone. bt gd brand names r exp, sigh... would reali love to hav it at Swissotel the Stamford or Fullerton, cos its a once in a lifetime experience for it to b grand n nice, at least in the sense tt its nt lk weird places lk Roxy Hotel la. bt undst tt the abv 2 hotels r exp, n min table req we might nt meet (eg min 40), so i'll cont to find....

yea yea.... tendered today, bt backdate it to last fri, ahhaha... actuali wanted to tender last fri, bt cos no one ard cos got unit trip/dinner at sentosa so decided not to..

well, the reason y resign is so tt can buy hse. tho haven find a hse yet, bt we cant apply the HLE (HDB loan eligibility letter) if i'm stil employed. have to b unemployed. so i resign, n give us a mth to look n find suitable hse. then wen a gd hse comes along, we can apply HLE n submit docs le...

bt i din tell ofc the real reason. i jus said i tired of audit, v stress, wana try smtin diff etc.... bt no one came to tok/counsel me. oh well. i'm so insignificant then.

wedding dates

went to the fortune teller at golden landmark today with dear's family n get the wedding dates. then we went over to Mong Hing restaurant at Keypoint for a celebration dinner for dear's mum bday comin mon... dinner was exp, n fd was mostly those "jia chang cai", eg steam promfret n minced meat with tofu. so i prefered Pu Tian instead. the food there is more unique, tastier n cheaper. oh well, treat it as tryin smtin new loh...

anyway, dear gave his mum a pair of diamond earrings. bought fm the same place where he made my ring, ahhaha... actuali he got a call in the morn tellin him the earrings r ready (wen yest still tell him mon then can get), so last min he went down to collect then came over my hse to meet me go bugis tog. in the end we were late n his parents were already there, so we rushed cab down to golden landmark, hahaa....

opppss.. OTT... so ya, the diamond earrings look big!! bt dear said my ring cost more than the 2 earrings... so weird... duno whether true anot, ahhahaa...

sooo many houses to go view, n jus kip gettin disappointed cos there's always cons abt the houses tt we see.... jus spent the weekend lookin at houses houses houses houses....

first day back to work... or not!!!

well, today sup to b the first day back to work, bt woke up with heavy rain (so nice to slp!) and a slight slight sore throat, so decided to call in sick, hehehhehe....

anyway, din slp at all last nite!! i duno y :( mayb its the heavy dinner n i go force myself to lie on bed wif tt rock-hard tummy. so i was jus lyin here n there in the bed n sofa bt cant slp, sigh... so then i decided nt to torture myself by gg to work.

in the aftnn, weather was those chilly cloudy type, so i decided to go lib n research up on the weddin stuff. mum wanted to go along n read newsp, so left dad at hm (cos he drowsy fm med n jus wana slp it off). so then we trotted to the lib wif e trolley bag n laptop. racked thru lk 2.5 rows of weddin books. lib staff came n ask me if the bks on e floor i wan, n i so embrassed... there were lk 20+ books on the floor, hee.. so then i ploughed thru e bks n decided 2 borrow 2 bks on hw to save money n 2 weddin mags. cos those weddin planner bks nt relevant to local leh, all tok abt church, weddin stationary, choose music, deco garden reception etc. for us chinese its e weddin banquet tt's e killer. not e gown mah.

tinkin whether can plan tog wif lian, can hav gp discount or share weddin mags/resources. haha... tinkin mayb tell the whole gp first? bt anyway lian had done much le, so duno if on par anot. well, at least can hav a weddin buddy, haha... well kip in mind to tok 2 her soon.

went to tang jie's (jia jia) weddin

din go to the tea ceremony/lunch reception yest, so got to meet up wif all my dad's side relatives today. as expected, nt much things to talk abt. was feelin bored all the way. lucky got e hapi feelin of wearin the ring to kip me alive thruout the whole dinner. a-too-loud-for-my-liking elder cousin sittin on my left and my mum tokin to another relative on my right. so i jus spend my time mostly observin the deco n the wait staff, hahaha...

took some pics on the weddin on my hp, unfortunately saved it on the new laptop which had prob uploadin pics, so i'll post them here another time.

anyway, the highlight of the dinner was prob me harbouring the secret tt its my turn next yr, bt stil pretending to smile smile wen ppl ask me abt it, hahahahhahaha.... evil lil' me! *hiaks*

broke news to parents

dear told my parents over dinner at my hse yest le, came by aft his first day at CS... surprisingly they din hav much of a rxn, nt lk "reali!??!"... hahaha, i guess tt's me la, cos tt's wat i would say, ahhaha. i was so excited abt tellin them, ahaha, its diff to kip a secret! n i cant stop gigglin wen dear was preparing/waitin to tell them, hehehe....

anyway, now hav to plan abt my resignation, the hse, ROM and chinese dinner... so confused, duno which one to do first or hw to go abt doin it... bt i'm hapi!!!

i'm gonna get married!

dear proposed tis morn, in the new suite tt we moved into.... dear requested for the super suite rm for tis special day so we can spend it in luxury b4 we fly off tom....

i cried wen i saw the ring, n i jus remained in his arms crying for duno how long, haha... he din even have to ask the qn cos i jus started cryin wen i saw the ring between his fingers. then he jus laughed n hugged me, kekeke! yes, of cos later he asked then i said yes n cried somemore, n he slided the ring into my finger.

i was so touched, i cant believe he planned so much surprises for me throughout the whole trip. from accomodation to shopping to food. reali v touched. n basically i dun believe tt its happenin.... u see, he was always tellin me "nt in the near future", cos due to many factors such as his job, his age, my charc, etc... so i always tot tt it would b at least another 2 -3 yrs....

i cant believe it tt i'm gettin married!!!! i'm so hapi now... it feels so blissful to be able to look at him in a new light, and know tt we will be spending our lives together soon. :)

dear came over aft dinner jus now n told me decided to go ahead, n book the depart sun instead. hehe, then i asked him y he change his mind aft i persuaded him for 2 days. n he said he was touched tt i was so "guai" n did up so much homework on the alternatives, hahaha... then he went hm to check out his passport details, then i waited for him to call him to call..

then i went online to check on the prices agn n saw tt both the depart n return tiks had increased to $18 each. sigh..... dear say put on hold n jus wait for the promo to come back. sigh.... seems lk they update the system b4 12am.... :<

hope the promo comes back. if nt we're nt gog overseas for the 3rd yr anniversary le.....

was tryin to persuade dear mayb compromise on the hotel? or jus take the $18 depart sat? or take the depart sun at $9? sigh.... feel so dui.... dun mind spendin the extra or a bit more trouble to travel to KL if air asia.....

stil tryin to persuade dear to go ahead with the plans, so his plannin wun b wasted. so now the position is turned ard, hahaha... me persuadin him to go...

phuket tour

busy busy tryin to arrange the phuket trip airfare... shld book anot? jetstar $9 promo came back le... dear told me tt on wed, bt was stil worried over the period, so i told him wait til period ba, bt now over le, so shld stil book?

dear spent a lot of effort on the plannin n the accomodation (he's kipin it a secret), so wld b v bad if i dun wana book the tiks now leh... cos i was tinkin its exp, since we went to krabi in feb le. travellin twice to thai in a yr seems a bit over ist? bt dun wana hurt his feelings leh... how how...

period...!

my period finali came!!

last mth was on the 21st, bt as i was goin malacca wif dear on 21 Sep (Fri), i took the pills to "regulate" the menses so that it would come 3 days aft i stop the med. i started takin the med on 19 Sep and ended on 21 Sep, so that it will come on 24 Sep (Mon). but it din :( so i waited and waited for soooo many days. then i took a pregnancy test kit on 26 Sep (Wed), because i cant believe that my period hasn come as it should be (since it is regulated on pills). the result was negative.

so i waited n waited until 1 Oct (Mon), where it would be a week late. went to see doc and doc say wait another week before determinin if any additional tests needed, and tt he cant give me any med to induce the menses. then i went back n started readin up on those early pregnancy stuff and got so scared knowing that test kits might not be able to detect if take too early. the best time was to take at least one week or two weeks aft the missed date.

then i got all flustered and down, esp since mum started askin. then dear suggested he take the day off yest to pei me do another test kit. so the plan was that he will take mc n i go his hse take. bt yest wen i woke up, saw his sms sayin tt he 4got his mum at hm so he'll take the aftnn off instead.

then i got angry n there was a string of all correspondence on the new plan/s. anyway, it ended that i took mrt to tanjong pagar, then he skipped his bosses' lunch then we got back to mrt to bugis, tested negative at hotel intercontinental, then went temple, had lunch n spent the noon surfin (me) and reading comics (him) at the bugis lib. then went his hse 4 dinner, cos he say save $.

oh ya, i dank 2 portions of pineapple juice yest. so to make my body "liang" and make the menses come earlier. ehehe.... guess it must be the pineapple juice or the temple helps then! :) good! now we can start plannin for phuket trip le, now tt a burden is off my mind :)

i stil cant manage to use the stupid upload pic function, so i tried to do it on the old ofc laptop. it works, n i can drag the pics, bt the stupid comp jus HANGED in the middle of my typin n despite my numerous restartin the laptop, it jus kip sayin tt "there is no OS avai" -.- huh???? then i tried to use back the new ofc laptop, bt using the "edit html" option, whereby i hav to cut n paste the html codes 4 the pics to where i wan them. bt its soooo ma fan!!!!! argh!! so now i'm back to usin the old laptop, typing EVERYTHING first then insertin the pics in between the typed paras loh. arghhhh!!!! i asked justin abt his blog posts n he got no probs leh!! y my laptop lk tt!!! argh!!!!

anyway, now i jus resign to fate la. i jus use the old laptop n try my best to do up a presentable post. hmph.

tart tart shop - beautiful tarts tt r avai in many many flavours! i lk the peppermint cheese, durian cheese, n choc chip ones. din try the others tho, hahaha.... i lk cheese tarts!!! they oso sell gd n reasonably priced fruit shakes, n i had the mango one twice wen i was there, yum yum. aids digestion wen u r overeatin on overseas trip too, hehehe... guess no chance to eat the tarts agn le, since dear quit his dbs job plus the malacca hse is sold off by dbs le, so no more cheap chalet to motivate us to go le, hahah....

captiol satay "lok lok" - this is the super long q steamboat shop, whose "soup" base is the satay

sauce. b prepared to wear thin clothes cos its hot wen the stove/fire is directly abv ur thighs wen u sit down :( bt the food is gd!! i missed eatin lok lok wen we came back fm malacca (first time ate wen go wif dear's parents), so i specially requested tt we go eat agn tis time, hehehe.... and its easy to c y the q is at least half an hr wait cos there is only lk 8 tables in the shop. *bleah* seems lk with the numerous newspaper n mag articles inside the shop doesn improve business sense? they can easily expand to the small road beside or the empty neighbouring shophouses' front lane mah. well, guess reali no business sense *shrugs*

bus tickets - these r reali the old type of bus tiks tt i rem seein wen i was a small kid, ahha... pay wen u go up the bus n the driver tears off one of the tiks indicatin ur fare. these tiks r for our return trip to Malacca Sentral bus interchange to go back to SG. RM0.70 for a ride in an old n rickety bus, v '80s feeling!

Dear's bday - 28 sep 07

city view - taken fm ferry departin the Marina South Pier, gg to Kusu island n St. John Island. can c all the city skyscrapers in the foreground building the IR.

information board at kusu island - describin the history, size, map of the island. interestin story abt the chinese n malay fisherman tt got saved by a giant turtle durin a night of rainstorm.

giant turtle - purportedly there are 2 giant turtles on the island, bt hard to spot them as they lk to hide in the caves for shade. well, as luck would hav it, dear spotted tis giant turtle swimmin out jus as we were leavin, ahhaha... its swim speed is fast!!! amazing.



baby turtles - kept by the chinese temple on the island, these baby turtles feed on vegs such as kang kong n cai xin. there is another open air turtle observatory tt is nt under the temple's, with lotsss more turtles there. one even waved at me, hahaha!!!

nice seaview - calm blue waters with an occasional tanker passin by with loads of cargo. there are beach benches with tables around the area, so its convenient to sit in the shade n admire the sea.

map of st john island - sm parts of the island under-goin construction now, n i was tryin to find out fm the map which were the locations tt ppl sighted dolphins. sigh, unfortunately, the areas are under construction n cordoned off, so din get to sight any dolphins. no coral reefs sightin too. :<

dear's bday!

wow, finali "executed" my BIG plan for dear's bday yest. lil hiccup in the morn, wen he was sup to meet me at raffles place mrt at 915, bt he reached at 930am instead. so then we waited v long 4 e bus to come at marina bay mrt, so afraid tt will miss the 10am ferry.

hehe... dear was totally in the dark abt my plan 4 e day, cos i only told him to wear v casual n bring tanning lotion n board shorts. heh! so exciting loh.

anyway, the bus came at 949am, and we managed to catch the 10am ferry to the southern islands. spent the day at the islands lazing ard (goin to kusu island first then final stop at st john's island), then gave dear his 1st surprise, which is my handbaked cheesecake. ekkeke... sang bday song n dear blew out candle. kekek... then we laze ard with music then went for a dip then bathe. then went up to the lifeguard tower for a nice bird's eye view of the scenary where i gave dear's the Pooh pouch that i cross-stitched myself. took many pics, ahha... then waited for ferry to bring us back to kusu island, where we prayed for a while then sat at the beach where i gave dear his second present, kekeke.. he was so surprised i bought the Calvin Klein boxers for him, cos they're v exp ($40!), bt he reali liked it hehehe....

overall, very nice day trip to relax. dear kept commentin on the clear waters, ahha, even said dun need to go phuket le!! so fun swimmin in the clear water with the small fishes swimmin ard in the clear water. :) dear say next time can bring bread feed the fishes, hahha... next time? hahaha.. bt sadly din get to c the coral reefs or dolphins tt i read abt on other websites. oh well....

then ferry back to mainland, where we were so tired we jus fell alseep on the ferry and on mrt back to Toa Payoh! went back to his hse for a real shower (cos the st john island shower cant adjust, n jus kip shootin water lk 20cm above my head !! arghhh!! :( ) then waited for his bro to book out for the first weekend.

then the whole 5 of us went to eat at Pu Tien restuarant at Jln Besar.hahha... bookin was changed fm 730 to 830 and we're stil late, ahhaha... reach only at 9, ahha. had a v v full dinner! costs dear abt $90, haha...

then his mum wana go Mustafa shop so we jus crossed the st to shop shop, bt his dad dun lk the place cos a lot of ppl n he tired, so we left the place quite soon aft tt....

will post pics of the southern islands up aft dear gimme, cos its in his cam... ahha, sounds familiar hor? ahahaha!

its so late now n yet i cant slp.

i called the SGH PS in the aftn n got an appt for next mon. oso found out tt the cost had increased to $7+ (fm a forum post),up from $4500 or so in Jun'06. so now the reality is lk double initial expectation.

lotsa lotsa sashimi!!! not to forget chawamushi ;p v v gd food, i wana go back there agn.... hehehe

look at all the food we ordered, ahhaa... tis is only the second order. we went on to order more sashimi leh, kekek... the soft shell crab was gd n the salmon sashimi was the most ordered item for us, hehehe.... v worth it for $25 ++ per person for dinner, regardless of wkday or wkends. service is gd n prompt, wil go back there agn!

drunk out!

ahaha... last nite left zouk at 2+ or so, cos all army guys n dear say no gals for him to see, so boring. so then we sat at the hdb flats downstairs for a while, tinkin of wat to do next. aft abt an hr or 45min (cant rem), we decided to walk to GWC 4 dear to draw $ first then check out zion road hawker stil open anot. i was intending to eat the UE sq Bak Kut Teh, bt hav to walk far n my legs hurt fm wearing the heels...

turns out zion road was closed, n we walked to the river valley stretch of food shops which were stil open. walked ard n sat down at one prata shop, bt dear was lk "lets go my hse n eat maggi mee instead".. actuali can c he wana go hm slp cos he tired le, so i said ok loh.. tho i was concerned wif wat his parents will tink abt me sleepin over n so red the body...

anyway, we reached his hse at 4+... n i was havin bad headache at tis time. dear went to bathe first n i removed makeup, then i bathed n he cooked the nicest nicest maggi mee. kimchi noodles with spring onions n luncheon meat n 2 eggs! so nice, yum yum!

then we go slp. me on his bed n he on his bro's bed. me woke up at 8+ feeling v hot,then turn on aircon n cont slp. then we went out to c whether the famous kway chup open, bt it was not. so we walked to the Lor 1 mkt to eat.

n the carrot cake was the nicest i ever eaten!! i dun like to eat white carrot cake, bcos past exp was tt it was tasteless, so i always eat black carrot cake. bt this white carrot cake was so v good!!!! only $2 oso, so cheeeaaaaapppppp!!!

then in the aftn dear got the cfm call fm CS, say can go down sign contract at 5pm!! so happy!! i jumped up n down in frnt of him, ahhaa... then we watched a movie n i called hm to say not eating dinner, cos wana celebrate.

aft the movie we went to cityhall area while i waited for dear. then we walked over to chinatown to eat Takaya Bistro, the jap buffet. my treat. :)

the buffet was great, n we ordered lotsa sashimi,hehehhe... wil post pics another time cos taken wif dear's hp. yums yums.... anyway, me stil duno where to eat dear's bday dinner... how!!

zouk mambo

goin to zouk mambo later with dear. so excited, so long nv go le. dear took off on tom so that he can go mambo with me today. told parents stayin over at dear's fren hse, bt intend to party til the end n eat then wait 8+ go dear's hse sleep...

then thurs mayb go wing tai or wat cos dear need to buy suit for his fren's wedding...

mooncakes

back to work early in the mornin to clear the L**I files with partner and send out accounts to client. tot only stay in the morning then can go off already, bt turns out mgr wans me to clear everythin nice nice then can go. so bcame nv eat lunch til 4pm then leave ofc.

walked to chinatown "tong heng" to buy mooncakes. two boxes - one for my parents from dear and one for dear's parents. then another 2 pieces which mum say is give ah zai uncle.

sup plan to give the mooncakes to dear wen he is stil at home b4 go IPPT, bt so late then go buy so not in time le. so then i went home with all the mooncakes.

dear passed his IPPT!!! even tho he was feeling sick, so proud of him.

sick again

sigh, fell sick agn yest. sup to wake up at 6am to meet dear n family at pasir ris n send his bro off to army. bt then at 5am woke up wif v bad stomachache, those that cramp n go cramp n go. ate med n apply oil oso no use. then at 6 plus wanted to go toilet diarr, turns out that diar n vomit at the same time. ya, n so i vomited over myself n on the floor. both side out.

then went to sleep n dear came over in the aftnn to pei me, n i slept agn. then parents went out for friend's dinner n dear went downstairs to ta bao for me then aft dinner i fell asleep on the sofa. smtin abt the med makes me v drowsy :(

dear left at 10pm to meet frens for drinks then i went to sleep immediately. today 12pm then wake up, ahahaha... the med reali v drowsy. then aft lunch, ate med n sleep agn. aft dear met up his frens (to discuss fren's wedding next mth), we met up n go his hse for dinner.

stayed till 1030pm cos watch the Hero movie on tv, then i took bus back myself. chilly weather today. v nice! i like this type of chilly weather. nice to cuddle in bed with choc, hahahahah!!!

hee, woke up to a rainy mon morn n decided to sleep in instead loh, hahaha... v bad hor? haha... then meet up with dear for lunch n had viet food agn. then dear told me stuff abt wat hap in the morn wen he tendered, then i went back to ofc le.

finished up my APM, hapi hapi... then dear called n ask if wana go eat family dinner as sup to eat last sat. smtin lk eat b4 his bro go to army tis sat. then i said mum cook le, then he told his bro n said his bro sounded frantic n sorta disappointed. ahahha...

then i felt sori n went to buy a slice of mud pie fm coffee bean to pass to dear, so tt he can give his bro later. *smiles* and so walk walk over to dear's ofc to pass to him n dear took train with me to my station n took the opp direction back, cos no time to send me home le.

first, there is the real dream. the one that u drift into in the middle of the night, the one where only u know under the dark blue sky. - i dreamt of dropping my teeth agn. the type where the tooth is super decayed and crushed up when u spit the tooth out. yes. its so decayed that u dun need to go to the dentist to pull it out. it jus gets spit out of your mouth.

then, there is the reality dream. ya, contradicting phase. well, its the one where u hope to get/acheive in real life, sorta like a goal. but its nt somethin u can make into a new year resolution kinda thing, you know? cos its not within my control. so how to make it into a resolution since u cant do much to acheive it? well, guess its pretty obvious - marriage. at least a proposal rite? bt well, the 1) life 2) charc 3) finance 4) family/mum reasons still stays. as it had been for the past few years... when will he change his mind?

i wana go to the beach!

have been on leave since 23/8 (Th), so its actuali 2 working days bt plus the wkends, makes me feel bored at home. having insomnia oso, weds nite cant sleep, ard 4+ then force myself to slp. sigh.....

there's all these talk abt marriage, its lk a super hot topic in 2007. sigh. abt 30min aft my last blog entry, i got to know fm a gd fren of mine tt another gd fren is already engaged. both of them r my ex-colleagues, so we're of the same age. guess wat? tis other gd fren tt's engaged only dated e guy (whom is a fellow colleague of hers) for ard 8-9mths. so fast! heard fm e gd fren of mine tt they r quite steady one, relationship v stable. even the ofc ppl started calling her mrs XXX months ago liao, hahhaa...

well, although pleasantly surprised by the news n hapi for her, it makes me wonder abt myself. n my own future. me gog to b 3yrs le, yet report card is stil 0. 8mths get proposal. sigh

talked abt it wif dear. get the usual response on nt ready, no career n longevity. well... sad. i'm nt gog to b able to hav much er ren shi jie n gog to hav kids quite old. sigh. i would lk abt 2 yrs of "honeymoon" period, where we can go travelling, enjoy late nites etc. then hav kids ard 27 n 29. it would b gd to hav kids early so tt the age gap is nt big, n also cos its nt gd for women to hav kids late as the aging process is accelerated n slimmin dwn in more diff. guess i'll nv b able to meet tis target le. jus lk i nv managed to get married by 25.

jus makes me feel there's no pt in celebratin my bday anymore. its no longer a happy occasion.

whee! its ndp! so it spells goooddddddd weather for the whole day wor, bt sadly we missed the fireworks, coz we were walking hm from dinner at e alexander hawker. sobssss.... tink its the first time we missed the ndp fireworks. nvm la, at least we get to snuggle up in aircon in bed n watch movie on laptop aft tt, hee..... lurvveeeee my dear's broad shoulders n chest! muwah! so nice to hug n sleep in!

oh ya, n a bit of withdrawal syndrome la. since we went to e pasir ris chalet last sun til tues. bought jolene along, n she so poor ting loh, she was so afraid of everythin tt she was so alert thru-out. hahaha, even dun dare to sleep, ahaha... anyway, it was a one and half day of mahjong n eatin in cos parents came over on sun aftnn until mon nite. then mon nite til tue check out is ourselves. watched "surf up" on laptop, which is a nice movie!!!! hahahaha...

ya loh, tt's hw i got my withdrawal syndrome fm my dear. hehehe...

oh, tis wk i'm on leave oso. took 4 days, cos today is ndp. tom last day le. sigh. the emails are lk 100 for tt 2 days nv work. sigh. so depressing.

which affected my mood yest, cos i checked emails b4 i met dear to go to his fren's hse for potluck cum bday celebration for 2 of his frens. which was fun, to c tt dear got so many close frens. oh ya, n his fren oso talked abt his impending wedding arrangement n honeymoon plans. wa, then he talked abt the places tt they r deciding - south america, south africa, whole of japan, denmark, greece etc. wow!!! so nice. they went so much places tog le, so plannin quite a few places to go for honeymoon since its a 3 wks ting. so envy them. the furthest i went with dear was krabi. they went europe tog le! so nice.....

sigh... i'm stil sick!! not recovering at all. more n more med for me to eat fm the doc, so sad.

guess it doesn help tt work is depressing too. all those vicious gossip mongers!!! n tt no matter wat, i cant go on my leave or i have tons of work to clear n no one to help me. sigh, feel v demoralised with work. so wan to quit badly, bt wil lugi a lot a lot if i quit n encash all those leave, cos of the way they calculate e encashment based on claim date's pay n not encashment date's pay. sighhhh... a lot of ppl resignin also, which affected my workload in the end, sigh....

so sad... fell sick yest. woke up wif a bad sore throat, kip taking lozenges during the day oso no use. then met up dear for e 33rd mth anniversary (hee!) then the body ache got worse, then as the nite pass, the headache and giddiness got even worse. wa, until i jus wana lie down on the floor. so sorry dear, 4 nt being a norm self bt a sick person.... oh ya, n 4 nt reading the tony roma discount coupon properly cos the 1-4-1 promo starts on 1/8/07, hahahah... make u gian then cant eat. but the jap fd tt we eat in the end was gd too mah, hahaha... soooooo cheap!! hahaha, half price jap bento fm Carrefour. kekekke...

happy yest sad today

y my life is always so up and down? yest was stil so hapi, cos left the client place early at 3+pm to go for hosp checkup. then went home to change to jeans n rushed dwn to the cathy to buy tiks for the transformers show at 710pm. was hapi to get the seats tt i wanted, then walked ard to area waitin for dear to knock off. got to eat MOS also (ta bao into cinema) for dinner. movie was fantastic! had initially tot its gonna boring cos i duno the story at all n its all machines+robots (blah). bt it turned out the movie was great!!! even better than spiderman3 wor!! the plot was gd, the action was gd (tho a bit deafenin at times, haha), and got funi parts too...

then the sad part is today. first, got my portfolio only today, cos last wk was busy with L*VI to take it at the seniors' meeting. turns out that the jobs given to me were 100% new to me + well-known shit. ARGHHHHHH!!!! is it time to go?????????????? they took away all my past jobs, wat does tt say???!?!?! they dun appreciate me rite? ok, fine, u dun have to LOVE me lk i'm a scholar, bt u took away ALL my jobs?????

wa lao, then took train with dear to tiong bahru to meet the seller of the fan, n guess wat, i got stepped on by a woman in front of me. it HURTS!!!!!!!!!!! DAMN HURTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its so painful my toe throbssss n swells up!!!

sigh... been busy with the LE*I client, that i went back to work last Wed n nv took my mc at all. hopefully the LE*I client dun hav so much review pts fm the mgr, cos no time to clear on the field already as pulling out tis Fri. Mgr only managed to see small sections today, sighhhhh... its gonna b another draggy round of clearing + drafting agn, sighhhh...

mayb will work tis sat, since got the D*H client also to clear for reporting... sighhh... bt dear got wedding lunch tis sat, so i wun feel so sad gog back to ofc, can "an wei" myself tt i am workin while waitin for him to meet for dinner, at least..... sorta "san mao" attitude loh.....

my toe surgery

had surgery on my left third toe on mon, cos there's this lump at the base of the toe tt's causing pain wen i walk, esp wen i wear high heels.... nurse gave instructions to reach at 930, bt turns out that the surgery was scheduled to start at 1030 am instead. bt doc nv came on time, up til1130 then they asked me to proceed to the surgery room from the day surgery ward. went in n waited agn, duno for hw long, bt it feels lk 45min to me. then went inside the actual surgery room where i was knocked out in abt 2min, hahah.... wen i woke up there were nurses quarreling in the waiting bay, so have to wait agn... then they wheel me back to the day surgery ward. then i slept agn, haha... woke up ard 4 and called dear. then they gave me apple juice to drink, c if i got vomit then aft a while gave me milo and bread. then i started takin pics while waiting for discharge, haha.... my bed # is 23! hehehe....

hav to keep 2 my resolution

well... had a big quarrel with dear on friday abt the quarrels tis wk, mostly talkin abt the vouchers ting, hw i'm stubborn n dun lk ppl to tell me n i jus do it. then also abt hw i cant handle tings cos will pick on him and hw even if i dun tink its my fault i shldn talk to him in a bad tone, tt sort of things....

fri started with me meetin dear for dinner, n i had warned him tt i cant reali cfm the time to meet cos i noe i'll b rushin tt stupid E**I stuff since i wun b ard on mon n tues. bt tt was ok, cos dear said he'll wait. n so wen we met up, we walked over to suntec. bt tings din feel rite cos i was the one talkin most of the time n he was v laggy n nua nua. so i asked if its cos he was sick n if so then we can jus eat anythin n go hm (tryin to be considerate). bt he said he's ok so we proceeded over to hav dinner at marina subway, which ran out of bread so we went to suntec subway.

by tis time i tink i asked him abt 9 times if he's ok le.... cos he was talkin to me in a fakey kinda way, lk fake concern n those plastic answers....

then we jus ate n prep to go home, wen he rec'd a call fm his frens askin him out n he said ok. then i asked him again for the duno hw mani times wats wrong wif him tt day. n he said he'll tell me. so on the shuttle bus, he said its got to do wif all the quarrels tt we had tis wk n if i cant change then he'll change, by avoiding conflict with him. so then we argued on the bus, n his frens kept sms/call him so i jus stop talkin n close my eyes.

wen we got off the bus n walked for quite a distance, he asked me y i dun hav anythin to say. i said "i asked u a qn jus now bt u din reply yet", then he said "y cant u repeat agn if tt's wat u always said i din do?" n tt started the whole argument agn. in the lift we jus kept quiet n wen the lift opened, i refuse to walk out cos he had the look which i noe he'll jus walk off n nt send me to e door n go meet his frens. he jus sorta yank me out of the lift n i walked first, n open e door. i din noe he had walked off so i turn ard n there's no one!!

i was so angry tt he jus walked off!! i left the door open n went upstairs to find him bt he wasnt there, so i walked one more flight up n shouted at him " so u jus gonna walk off like tt?" then agrue abt "u walk off first, u din say anythin" blah blah.

anyway, cut the story short is we went back to my hse bt din talk cos i was wiping dog poo n he was waitin in the hall. wen i finished, i walked out fm kitchen, casually pointed at the door n asked "so wat time u meetin them?" he took it as i was chasin him n he said "ok, i leave, so u hav nothin to say". i was so angry i said "the whole nite i asked u so mani times wats wrong n u lied to me by saying nothin. jus now u jus walk off fm me n now u r gog to do the same thing? so u r v rite in doin all these things???"

he jus gave me a v angry n fierce look n reali walk out of the door.

i was soooooooo angry.... i walked back to my room n called him. sayin tt he shldn hav done tt to me n everythin. he oso yelled back at me tt i was the one who pointed at the door, n it was his frens who arranged to meet even b4 he asked me out for fri. then he said 3 quarrels in a wk is not a gd sign, lk tt how to have any future....

anyway, he walked back n we talked. bt then his frens called agn n he had to go. i went to pee n wen i came out to the hall, he jus hugged me n said " the point is.... i love u.... n so i know its not goin to work if it cont's to b lk tis, tt's y its so impt to me. u hav to admit ur faults..."

i was so touched, i cried. cos he seldom says the 3 words to me....

guess the counter is restarted agn. i must avoid quarrels. must improve myself. target no quarrels for next 3 mths, baby steps first. so until 22/9/07!!!!!

had planned to meet dear after work yest cos was in trainin for the whole day so expected to be able to slip off at 430-ish. and the best thing is the whole day none of the two managers called me to ask for me so i'm decidin between bochup (u no call means no need me) or to appear concerned and shoot myself by calling them and checking the status. turns out that CW complains abt the GA not amending the things correctly, and cant reach RB at all on the phone. so i called client and asked when she expects the things, to which she said "oh, RB say u'll amend tonite and give us tom". wa lau!!! i'm lk HEFH???????? dun bother to tell me tt u need me so assume i'll send myself to slaughter???? so angry loh, treat me so lk for granted and push blame on me.

then dear sms me tell me the guy tt's selling the vouchers (for D's wedding tis sun) can meet at 615 at marsiling mrt, if not then its wkend town. so i said i'll cfm aft course, n the guy said ok, latest let him noe by 530 whether meeting. n i'm tinkin, ok, stil hav an hr for course to over-run, in case.

so then the course ended ard 445, n i decided to go back n c hw's the stuff. to which i saw my table was taken by TW, and TW tell me "they were packin the compactus n took all ur stuff out, its all there". wa lau!??!?!?!? huh????? u jus take out my things, put at my desk wen we r sup to clear all the ofc area yest?? so u definately expect , cfm, chop + guarantee tt i'll cm back aft course to clear the shit??? wen no one tells me tt they took out the stuf?????? wa lau!!!!!! KKN!!!!! its lk "HELLO?!?! the space will b taken by other ppl then i put where???" i'm so damn angry loh!!! then i jus tell EY, u say can put there, y in the end they throw out my stuf?? i'm so angry loh. walked over to the compactus to c if tt space ist taken up by other ppl (who threw mine out to put his!!!), bt the space was stil clear. saw tt other shelves were in boxes, nt bags. so then ok, i'm gonna put in box too so u hav no reason to THROW my things out!

sian... then reach orch need dear to gimme $20 for cab. then dear nag at me say i shldn b so stubborn to insist to go meet the guy, shld wait for wkend, in the end spend so much on cab. sian.... so i was angry on the way to dinner. ask dear to order chix korean noodle. then wen the fd came, its non-spicy n noodle is lk mee pok. i'm soooooo angry!!! bt dear left to buy his fd, so i wait for him to come back n i went to the stall to ask for change, n they wun. will onli change the soup to spicy.

anyway, the whole nite is jus sian. me in angry mood n dear in quiet mood. so jus watch movie. tink its the first movie we watched without kissing at all. of cos not those long long ones la, bt a quick peck or a sniff at the hair. bt none loh. v sian.

then tis morn oso no sms fm him or email fm him. lunch oso he go arrange with his frens n nt me. knew i gog for brain scan today oso nv sms me later to ask how or wateva. jus sms me to say tt got issue so he jus left ofc (at 830pm).................................................................

Today n yest is jus so bad. nothin nothin to cheer up at all..................................................................

handicraft weekend

oh no... one more week before Dennis's ROM and we stil haven managed to get the wedding toasting flutes to turn out rite, sigh... wanted to give them a pair of personalised champagne glasses with their names and the ROM date etched on, using the glass etching cream. bt duno y end up buying 2 tubes of the cream and stil doesnt work. the 1st one was too creamy, the second one got the "matt rough" feel of etched on bt it doesnt stay on even aft one nite of curing it as the words can be peeled off aft contact with water. v disappointed and sad cos spent abt two weekends researching, buying and cutting the stencils etc. and stil doesnt work... actuali the effect is quite nice, just tt its not waterproof, which i duno y cos the stupid website of the product claims it can last "numerous times"... arghhhh.... and their proj sheet can illustrate until so many colours and designs. dun undst y anyone would spend so much effort if cant wash?!?!?!?

oh ya, forgot to mention that fri nite went dinner with dear's extended family agn... tis time is his parents give treat (bt in the end dear settle the bill, hahhaha), n we went to the Pu Tian at Kitchener rd, which sells "Heng Wah" cuisine and ate a full dinner (partially oso cos i not much appetite, hahah)... then the smallest cousin call me "yi yi" wor!! then i so embrassed... cos his mum ask him to call me "yi yi" cos she say the cousin call dear "gu gu"... then i jus smile smile loh, i oso v embrassed... ;o

then the most embrassing part is wen gog to leave them they deciding hw to go to dear's hse.. then his "da gu" say "they liao gong pao follow XX's car la" while pointing at me and dear! then i jus OMG face turn n look at dear wif the food in my mouth, then OMG, huri look dwn n eat.. then they all saw my rxn.... :( then they laugh laugh at me n also c my red face... then dear's mum sit bside me din hear the comment n asked ard wat hap, so the story get told agn, then i so embrassed..................................................................................................... luckily the waitress cm n ask smthin abt the menu so i jus pretend to look at the menu blah blah...............................................................................................
