fell sick :(

sigh, duno y today nt feelin well. was sup to wake up early n prep go to mgr's hse for gathering. managed to wake up at 10, n prep n changed n all. then wen colleague was downstairs to fetch me, i started vomiting. twice. in the end too weak to go. sigh. felt so pai seh to the colleague, cos she got lost tryin to find my hse n went hm aft i called tellin her i'm nt gg......

then i slept thru the noon n woke up to cook a small portion of porridge for lunch. then eat med. then in the evening went over to dear's hse 4 dinner. discussed abt hse reno aft dinner. n came hm myself. me gd gal. cos dear was feelin v tired fm reservist n painful fm the sunburns.

first wkend tog

our 1st wkend tog :)

miss dear a lot. heard tt he kana v bad sunburnt yest. then wen i c him today then saw hw bad it was loh. he was totally red on the face, neck n hands. nt lk the norm red tt i usually sees aft he play soccer. the red is lk fierce red. lk over cooked lobster red. lk singapore flag red. n he kip tellin me it hurts wen he walk fm hm to mrt jus now.... so poor ting...

since i came out at city hall mrt to wait for him, we squeezed in the next train to bugis n i kana stepped by sm1 on my rite leg :( arghhh, duno y so many ppl in the train all standing by the door n so much space at the other side's door. then i tell dear wen i was takin mrt dwn to cityhall, sm1 stepped on my left leg, so today in the mrt i kana stepped on both legs! then he was so sweet to say 'let me make up for it' n kissed me! hehehehhee.... he's such a dear, even wen he's all red n in pain, kekeke!

anyway, we went to buy a pair of vintage couple tee n went to eat dinner at the hawker. $2 rice n wanton noodles! ok la, the portion is small. then we shopped ard bugis village n exclaimed at the poor quality n high prices of the clothes there. the rental there is v high, so prices r higher than elsewhere. even the same tee can cost $12 at one shop n $9 at another one further down. atrocious.

then we walked to suntec carrefour n looked at sofas n beds. dear sat a while on the OTO massage chair n i looked ard at the toys section. then we went over to marina sq to eat CHOCZ. ordered the choc fondue, milk chocolate with hazelnut paste. it was jus ok. not enuf chocolate. unlike the last one we ate at coffee club. n the choc was too hot towards the end, cos the candle was burnin a small volume of choc. sorta burnt my tongue.

came hm n forgot to take the thumbdrive fm dear, n dear walked back fm bus stop to pass me the thumbdrive with our ROM videos. then he went to meet his frens at Liquid Kitchen while i watched the videos. SO NICE to relive the moments agn. cried agn wen watching the solemnization part. hahaha....

nw waitin for dear to reach hm. its 2am n he's nt hm yet..... feelin sleepy liao. tom stil gotta wake up early to go mgr's hse 4 lunch.... hope he's nt so drunk til knock out liao... hmmm... gonna sms him n check with him... tata!

dear's in reservist

cant seem to conc on work today, spent most of the day on msn chats! hahahha... anyway, its club 530 today, which means everyone is to celebrate n go home on the dot. which means a unit party, which means catered fd. which was jus nice, since dear cant cfm whether can meet me as he nt sure wat time he can b dismissed fm reservist which starts today. so i jus had the catered food as dinner loh, cos parents meetin frens n went out early w/o cookin dinner.

then received dear's sms tt he cant meet me cos got nite parade. oh well. so then i decided to work late. which stretches til 9+ n i stil cant finis the work. mgr was nice n said she wana go hm already, too many nites no slp. then catering guy came to collect the buffet stuff, n i casually asked if can ta bao. to my surprise he said got put boxes there 4 ppl to ta bao, so i tagged along to c n oso ta bao a box of prawns back to eat.

ate the prawns while watchin tv, cos started to feel hungry already, ahhahaha... tom dear stil got reservist. so we can only meet in the evening, cos he estimate dismiss ard 2pm. then he go hm n change n do sm stuff b4 meetin me. lookin forward to meetin him tom... miss him lots....

hmmm, continued off where i left off last thurs - to review the manual done up and check for compliance and for any grammer n such. duno y was feelin quite tired, tho last nite slept at my own bed, plus took med so somehow i dozed off halfway in the afternn... (*_*) din even realised i had dozed off until my head nodded forward. dunno whether any1 saw tt anot... then had super hard time keepin my eyes open. plus body ache all over.... sobsss....

9 more hrs!

busy day today. woke up early n went to uncle mike there 4 blessing, followed by lunch at tpy lor 6 with parents n ah zai uncle. then mum went to cut hair n we went to deco the guest book. aft tt, i went with parents to fetch ah ma fm jurong to our hse to stay over. was rainin cats n dogs n we took a cab back home.

dinner was a nice meal at the 煮炒 stall opp the Mitsubitshi building near my hse, followed by a stroll to NTUC b4 heading home. started doin up the DIY stuff, lk deco the weddin vow paper, prep the guest book pens, pack the wedding bears n Precious Moments glass ball to place on the registration table. then i started on the beauty routine - wash n blow hair n make fake nails. also did up a notice memo for the guest book as instructions.

v nervous abt tom. hope i dun stumble over my words. hope no rain tom!!

1200pm - to reach Zhou Kitchen n set up things

so excited now, wonder if i'll get any sleep later anot, hahahahahha!!!!!

workin late

been assigned to projects tt r havin v tight deadlines n only plot me for a few days to complete the work. feel v stress with so much work to do, n to work till late ard 10+ to rush out the stuff. sigh. feel v demoralised.

hw cm i mus hav tis fate to kana pulled into jobs in the middle n only give me 3 days to complete the work.... esp wen its the final countdown to my wedding, the last critical days where i need the sleep n the rest. sigh.

nvm, at least it all ends now. tom is public holiday. no more work.

super no mood to work at all

went to ROM!

we woke up bright n early today to collect the ROM docs from the registry office. duno y we always kana the first slot one loh. Hdb first appt was at 815am n the registry office appt time was 830 am. since they give us an hr slot to complete the whole thing, we decided to reach at ard 9am instead. go so early later oso nothin to do mah.

was exciting doing the swearing and declaration of information and details (eg above 21, not previously married etc.) n took lotsa pics too, hahahha!!

aft tt we had bfast at Mac @ Funan and went to Popular at Bras Basah to buy the guest book. finally able to find one tt is perfect! small yet elegant. formal yet classy. then i went facial at 11am n dear slept at the spare bed next door, n we had lunch with auntie Jane aft tt at a quaint Burmese restaurant. my noodles were too spicy 4 me cos i cant take spicy food, bt tink dear's food was great.

next up on our packed 'things to do' was to collect dear's ring and to buy cloth. since it was still early, we decided to buy cloth. then as we were walking n talkin, decided to pop by Textile Centre to see if got cloth so tt do nt hav to walk until Arab st. wow! turns out tt the shop tt i've been wantin to go, tt sells fancy wholesale sewin knick knacks was there! so happy! bought crystals to deco my weddin shoes n crystal hearts to deco the guest book :)

then collected dear's ring, which was amended lower n bigger so it looks better! great!

last on the list was the cloth. decided to drop it n use balloons instead. so we went str to Daiso to buy the remainin tings :-

1) Dear's tie
2) Fake nails
3) Stockings
4) Balloons
5) Fancy pens 4 guest book

ended buying #4 n #5 at Giant IMM instead, hahahaha... bt its been a fruitful day!!!!!

today my client treat us to lunch at the Liquid Cafe, which was jus a block away fm the ofc. wow, the whole finance team was there. even the EA team was there too. had a yummy scallops linguine with veggie soup, yums! bt the service was bad. extremely slow loh. there were only abt 13 of us, n we already pre-ordered by callin them beforehand, bt they stil cant cope with all the dishes. oh well. at least my linguine was gd. nt the same to b said 4 my mgr's baked rice tho. she ate only one spoon n stopped. n she said it was yucks. hahhahaha...

met up with Gay, Junie, Carrot, May, Anne and Dennis at Menotti for supper n to give them all the invites too. it was fun meetin up n eating sinful things, ahhaha! was Carrot's bday too, so we ordered a cake for her to surprise her wen she reach. unfortunately, the waiter took out the cake n had trouble lighting it up. so he was standing behind me tryin the light the cake in front of Carrot! (-.-)"

then cos we ended late so dear din send me home. he took the north train n i took the west train home. was scary walkin home from mrt cos the road is deserted n quiet. plus got to climb tt high high flight of steps home. so scary.

busy day

wow, woke up v early yest n went to dye my hair for ROM. chose a dark golden brown colour so as to appear more natural. too light n my hair will look fried n dry n super unhealthy. bt wen aft dye hor, stil nt used to the colour leh. stil prefer my natural colour, hahahhaa... oh well, hope dye hair will look younger 4 ROM. paid $35 for the dye job, she din even blow dry my hair n i got to go hm n dry it myself.

then in the noon rush down 4 e marriage preparation course, and afterwhich, took the free shuttle bus to Plaza Singapura and walked around there. Then we walked down to Far East, back to the shop we went on fri to sell my hp. asked ard a few shops ard there, bt none as gd a offer as tt shop. so we sold it to the same shop.

so fm now onwards is using my dad's old phone hahahha... dear say it looks lk a brick ;p

on leave today. was a long day. slept at 2+ yest coz cut n fold the invites til v late last nite.

tis morn hav hdb first appt at 815am, so had a hard time wakin up :(

was cold in the morn too, since it was rainin. worried its gonna rain on 23rd. pls pls dun rain!!!!

anyway, was a shock tt we hav to pay 23k within 10days. then the remainin 40k at the second appt. tot is all the COV at the second appt. so it was all financial stuff, lk hw to split the mthly cpf.

aft hdb, we rested a while at dear's hse cos he haven ate bfast yet. then we made our way dwn to meet AL for lunch n give her invite too. she lent me her mum's ring pillow, which looked v nice. thanks gal! had an exp chx rice lunch, which wasn v nice either. cost $22 for 3 person, cos of the tofu. treated AL to lunch, since she so nice to lend me ring pillow. if nt i'll hav to DIY, hahaha...

then we took bus to tanjong pagar to pass the invites to LSF, n tong bang GP's invite with her. bumped into dear's old colleagues, n he was lk 'wa lao', hahahhaha...

walked over to digio. felt v sian, cos i dun tink wil find smtin i lk. indeed the dresses were the same. so tried sm n dear help take pics with his hp. then wen i was changin, i heard another woman usin the fittin rm behind askin if she can take pic of her WG n was rejected by the fierce lookin woman who said 'no photography allowed unless u cfm ur gown already'. WA!! then i felt v paiseh, cos i take so many times liao.

then wen i changed out liao, dear whip out his hp agn. n i stopped him. n he was confused, hahaha... then amanda went upstairs to take another gown, n i signalled him over to the gowns area. n pretend to touch a gown n whispered to him wat hap, n he undst. then i realise - eh, the gown i was touchin looks nice leh. jus tt its spag la, so look a bit LC, hahahha... anyway, decided to try it.

AND IT WAS NICE!!!!





so tis is the gown tt i'm takin! hehehe... loved the back!!! so hapi!! turns out tt tis gown is not Digio's, is the GHA Tampines one. so amanda hav to wait til tom to check whether any1 usin tis gown on 23rd with GHA. my backup gown is the pom pom purple roses one, which din take pic, cos wen i wore it, the woman behind was rejected her foto request, ahhaha...

rechoose flowers to match the gown, n dear oso changed fm tux to a simpler jacket. aft tt, we went over back to tanjong pagar plaza where i went to Wen's hse to drop invite n as we were on the way to the bus stop hm, i saw tis v cute pair of rubber shoes. best ting? $4 only, hahaha... left one pair so i took it!

we decided to go hm put the stuff first, rest a while then go buy weddin shoes at anchorpt. v hapi tt the pair i wanted was stil on sale :)

proceeded to ikea to hav free coffee (hehhee!) n discuss the hdb financial plan n oso our mpc 'homework'. realised tt it was too noisy 4 us to discuss the mpc, so proceeded with e mpc stuff. calculated out everytin so its all split half half.

phew~~~ wat a lonnnngggg post. well, its a long day mah. bt hapi! my gown is settled!!!!

dear came over to lido n we had kfc for dinner. then we decided to walk ard, n i dragged him to clarity cos wanted to c how the actual ring with side design looked lk as we quite cfm want to make tt ring for the guy. tis is hw the ring (for the guy) look lk:



bt then dear din wana walk into the shop, so he was angry cos he said the lady boss recognised us n was lookin at us fm inside the shop (which had closed). so with an upset mood, we decided to go home.

at my hm, in my rm, we had argument abt the guy's ring n the prices. he said i tok too loud n i was unhapi abt the progress of the rings (he placed order for the lady ring with YT yest aftn, since they said can collect on 18th). so then came the usual ting abt me not apologising, me being too 'ba dao' during arguments etc.

tis morn had to go Zhou Kitchen at 11am to site-view again n discuss abt power sockets etc. was rainin in the morn n dear left hm late. so i slowed tings down n i was late in meetin him at anchorpt. then he tried to say helo to me wen walkin on a narrow pavement with overgrown plants, so i said later, since i'm carryin laptop n holding umbrella at the same time. then he started sulkin abt hw i rejected him....

then came the episode abt me give him black face at Zhou Kitchen, n hw we ended up leavin the place at 1245pm n sup to reach MPC at 1pm. so i was v stress since need to eat lunch n go dwn in 15min. he decided to take mrt, n as we were walkin on the way, 64 past us. then the anchorpt shuttle bus to mrt. by nw it was 1250. so i got aggitated n said take cab.

lunch was a small bowl of fishball mee gobbled down. then rush to mpc. we're the last couple to arrive, bt nt the last one in the rm, cos there was another couple doin the PREPARE inventory outside.

so during the mpc, couples were light-hearted n talkin while the both of us were nt in a gd mood. n it felt meaningless to me. sigh. then i started tinkin y m i doing all these. shld i b doin this? m i makin the rite decision? as the course goes on abt differences n conflicts, i felt more demoralised. it was only towards the end of the course wen we go through sm sharin activities then the feelin got let go.

as we were doing our PREPARE inventory aft the course, the coordinator left us in the room to ans the qn. then dear said hello to me agn :)

so all's well agn (* v *)

then we went to make the guy ring at golden mile n then wen to ofc to print the invites. n i went hm alone aft tt, cos he go meet his frens sup at suntec.

the bus i took home smelt of stale pee. salty n sour. i find it so hard to bear!!!
