i'm totally confused over my career options now.

to stay or to leave?

comfort or money?

sigh... wat shld i do? i've actuali given up the fast track. so now is for me to stay on the next best "fast" track or to just give up the fast track?

i duno wat i wan fm working anymore. i gotten so lazy i dun even wana move at all.

woke up at 830am. hav to reach client's at 9am. managed to do it on the dot.

nv agn. so stress.

today i tot of

resigning. because of u. because of a "mistake" sm1 made. because of tt, i felt hurt. disappointed. to the pt i wana cry in the toilet n cant believe its happening to me.

mc today. dun feel lk workin. since stil got the stupid sore throat for lk 2 wks le. oso tom startin the stupid insurance job which is gg to b xiong, cos kip tellin me to finish in 2 wks. wa lao. so jus take mc n go chinatown to look for pyjamas. the prices there are lk 3x compared to the TPY's. amazing loh. abt 10+ shops all sellin ard the same price. oh well, at least managed to buy a red brolly at $5 n some more red ribbon at Golden Dragon. which saw cheaper ones at the 1st floor. oh well.

anyway, update on the past few days stuff:


thurs - lobo the whole day, waited for stupid client to provide the outstanding. which she give at 430pm, a simple email. wa lao. then i got to rush out the stuff cos is the last day of field. then finish work at 715pm (without lunch! cos tt place no lunch!!) n rush to the nails place at taman jurong. the maid v nice, cook cup noodles for me to eat. waited a while then is my turn for the nails. did express mani + pedi + french tips + 2 toe nail art designs. included buffering, 2 coats of polish n cuticle oil, n oso spray the express dry thingy on me. tho no dryer on the nails la, jus sit n watch tv loh. did until 10pm, then realised i wore the black patent peep toe shoes, cant destroy the pedi leh. then she v nice, lent me her slippers. reach bus stop ard 1010pm, waited v long for the shuttle bus to mrt. reach hm ard 11. hav to wait sm time to wash hair. asked mum to help me wash, hahaha... then pack bag n prep for tom's bintan trip!



fri - wake up at 630am. left hse ard 645 to go digio tampines. met dear at city hall mrt, bought mac bfast at tampines interchange. took shuttle bus to digio, reach ard 745. light drizzle rain. hopin tt bintan no rain. make up + hair n left for tanah merah ferry terminal. cab ride there was $8. waited at lobby for abt an hr, cos the ferry is the 1110 one. wa, so many kids loh. n they get to board the ferry first. was afraid will kana sea sick, cos din eat much in the morn. ate my halls sweet n tried to sleep. reached bintan n it was sorta grey sky, cos got rain there in the morn too. proceeded to the kelong n changed to the green EG.

took pics at the small hut at the kelong, at a corner of the hut, along the long wooden "road" of the kelong, sm pics of wearing shoes. weather v cooling!! cos aft rain mah, bt sky lookin better liao, got nice clouds.

then changed to the casual look - the short white puffy ROM dress. super comfy attire with the cute ballerina school shoes n the white shorts. proceeded to the mayang sari resort and took various locations:

- took outside a spa area. sm pics of playin with flowers in a pool, sitting on stone stools, sitting on a small pond area.

- against a large stone craving wall. sm jumping shots here, i tink. ahahah

- outside at the balcony of a deluxe resort. shots of leaning down on my hands etc.

- sitting/lying on a net hammock. kekek, stole sm resting time. heh!

- proceeded to the beach. sun's comin out liao! had sm runnin, jumpin (most xiong. man! abt 20 shots or retakes), n sittin on dear's shoulders. drew heart in sand. took sm back shots. sm leap frog shots. super thirsty man. sun super big n super tan liao.

- went to the lagoon, bt took at sm sand mountains first. got shots of on the winding road, then we requested to climb up the sand mountains for sm arty shots.

- took sitting down shots at the lagoon. oso took sm at the rd.

- end of day! went to ferry terminal to change n took 530 (SG time) ferry back. henry drop us at tampines mrt, had dinner there (found out my fav mutton soup gone, sobs). went home.

- sat : went to meridien view the Ruby setup, tok to April abt impending schedule. went to PS shop ard. met dear's frens for dinner at Cuppage Waraku n showed them the ROM albums. din get to meet the CGS gang cos they left early. then aft dinner they went to emily hill for drinks until abt 2am.

- sun : feeling super sick n feverish. din go to Meridien to c the Victorian theme. slept n ate dinner at dear's hse.

- mon (today) - mc loh. hahaha... 2 days! later gg for dinner with dear to celebrate, hehe.. nothing exp la, he wanted international buffet at furama loh. bt dun wan la. jus simple can liao. gg to anchorpt then ikea for sm feel of hw much furniture costs.

fri e 13th

today is the first day i'll b alone at the changi logistic hub since the US client left already yest. today sup to the final day of the work, bt got so many left i dun tink i can finish today. gonna overrun, which is troublesome cos my mgr nt replyin my emails (jus found out tt she went overseas assignment) then i dun wat to do... arghhhhhhhhh... lost n confused. smmore lk got misunderstanding bet the US client, US interoffice n us loh, on the length of secondment.


anyway, tuesday (10th june) was my SG photoshoot. the day went smtin lk tis:

9am - reach digio for makeup n hair. dear tried his suits, which he din get to try wen i went for final fitting last thurs (5th june). there was this cute dog tt was there with his owners to take photoshoot with them, haha... he was a v steady dog. no hyper, v calm. jus walk ard, stare at u n walk away, hahah...

?? am - haha, then lost track of time. we brought lotsa props too. went to rent a white lace brolly at $10, bought bubble gun at $15, brought along the precious moment crystal ball, soft toys, n even mahjong set which forgot to take out in the end, ahhaha...

anyway, for the pics is take the AD WG first. then is the champagne coloured gown, which looks v beautiful n the the award-winning design fm Her World Brides. shall post the pic fm my final fitting one:




then is take pics for the AD EG, which is shocking pink with black details.

love the backless look!! they help to add a diamondnite strip to hide the ugly beige net seam.

at abt 4pm, we left the studio to go SG outdoor shoot in tis gown:

first place went to is city hall mrt, cos tt was the place we first met each other. hehehhe... a lot of ppl look at us. got one bugger took out his hp n took our pic rite in our face. stupid person.

then we proceeded to dempsey there, took at a church first. sat on the grass in front. pokey grass at my thighs... then is at an old hse. kana bitten by numerous times on my arms n legs. its lk 20+ bites on my left arm loh. argh. took pics inside and outside the hse.

aft tt, is jus a drive opp to botanic gardens for the waterfall n the white porch. met another 3 couples there takin pics also, hahaha...

last place was to the fullerton area in my purple gown, to take the bridge n the museum nearby. also took sm pics by the river, backdrop against the boat quay stretch of shops.


its sup to hav a can can to fluff it up, bt during final fit no can can avail so the pic is w/o the can can. anyway the can can broke on tt day loh. so i walk ard with a plastic strip stickng out. so nan kan.

so tt ends the photoshoot day, we reach back digio ard 7, then change n remove makeup, pay $ n left for dinner. was quite disappointed wif the pictures cos more posey posey type, nt the carefree n special type tt we wanted n saw fm other albums. shall use the bintan trip to make up for it then...

dear's in reservist

cant seem to conc on work today, spent most of the day on msn chats! hahahha... anyway, its club 530 today, which means everyone is to celebrate n go home on the dot. which means a unit party, which means catered fd. which was jus nice, since dear cant cfm whether can meet me as he nt sure wat time he can b dismissed fm reservist which starts today. so i jus had the catered food as dinner loh, cos parents meetin frens n went out early w/o cookin dinner.

then received dear's sms tt he cant meet me cos got nite parade. oh well. so then i decided to work late. which stretches til 9+ n i stil cant finis the work. mgr was nice n said she wana go hm already, too many nites no slp. then catering guy came to collect the buffet stuff, n i casually asked if can ta bao. to my surprise he said got put boxes there 4 ppl to ta bao, so i tagged along to c n oso ta bao a box of prawns back to eat.

ate the prawns while watchin tv, cos started to feel hungry already, ahhahaha... tom dear stil got reservist. so we can only meet in the evening, cos he estimate dismiss ard 2pm. then he go hm n change n do sm stuff b4 meetin me. lookin forward to meetin him tom... miss him lots....

back to work

hmmm, continued off where i left off last thurs - to review the manual done up and check for compliance and for any grammer n such. duno y was feelin quite tired, tho last nite slept at my own bed, plus took med so somehow i dozed off halfway in the afternn... (*_*) din even realised i had dozed off until my head nodded forward. dunno whether any1 saw tt anot... then had super hard time keepin my eyes open. plus body ache all over.... sobsss....

workin late

been assigned to projects tt r havin v tight deadlines n only plot me for a few days to complete the work. feel v stress with so much work to do, n to work till late ard 10+ to rush out the stuff. sigh. feel v demoralised.

hw cm i mus hav tis fate to kana pulled into jobs in the middle n only give me 3 days to complete the work.... esp wen its the final countdown to my wedding, the last critical days where i need the sleep n the rest. sigh.

nvm, at least it all ends now. tom is public holiday. no more work.

gonna concentrate on my wedding. final gown fitting tom!

lk got a lot

of stuff to do at work. then i feel so stress cos i duno hw to do those reports n summary. stil tryin to 'feel' ard the work, n hav to rely much on other jobs' avai info to do my stuff. tink the work tt i generated a bit 'kiddo' n nt up to standard leh. how how... feel lost leh. cos i join at weird time, din manage to get formal trainin abt wat to do. oso cos my position is nt entry-level, so the expected level of work fm me is higher. makes me more stress, cos i dun hav to foundation to do the work in the first place. stress stress.

bt i tell myself to relax n tink positive. at least i'm nt gg thru peak now. at least i can c sun wen i go hm. since many many yrs in january tt is nv a possibilty.

n i oso hav to thank my new job 4 givin me many opportunities tt would nv been possible before.

so i mus appreciate wat i hav now. contented.

lobo day

today is quite lobo. been readin up n doin admin stuff so far, n today hav to read up on next wk's client. so read up abt oil industy + JSOX. had a trainin in the aftn on JSOX too. got the impression tt my colleagues r v out-spoken, even in front of a mgr. hmmm... so diff fm my prev unit. no one dares to ans qn n jus look dwn wen any1 ask qn, hahahah...

hope work will b ok next wk, cos real work starts! jia you jia you!

new day at work

today is first day at work! so nervous, duno wat to expect. at least the hse ting is settled, can put my mind at ease to concentrate on work. my assigned buddy showed me ard the system n some of the workin papers. gonna hav to read up on sm prior trainin materials to familarise myself.

then laptop got prob, cant connect to wireless no matter hw long i tried/waited. so took the laptop to IT to service n wen i cm back, the ofc is empty n no1 ard to lunch wif. so dear saved e day n came over to eat wif me :) muacks!

rush rush mon

had to go back ofc in the morn to handover the NT stuff n do my timesheet. arghh... sup to b lk 15min to do the stupid timesheet bt then cork up!! my name already transfered to RAS bt grade wrong. tried n tried myself bt cant. give up. called IT n they tried bt cant. then ask me call HR. then its 1.29 wen i called. guess wat. they ask me call back later. ARGHH!! give up. decided to do up the manual amendment form so spent time typing out line by line, argh!!

suppose to leave ofc ard 1 n meet dear 4 lunch, bt end up ard 2 then i leave. was rainin wen i walked over to meet dear. :(

dear surprised me by meeting me at esplanade entrance, n hug me fm behind! din noe he was there, ahhaha.... muacks!

ate korean fd, n then i went over to Golden Horse Awards to see if got cheaper than Di Gio. oh well, no. hahaha... then i shop ard, look at nik-naks, look at wedding bands, then dear sms me "talk so long ah?" ahhaha... then i said no la, i walkin ard myself. then i asked if wana wait 4 him knock off anot, then he say 3+ only, go hm rest la. so i went over to shuttle bus stop, n saw it drive away!!! argh!!! fed up, told dear i wait for him la, another 1.5hrs b4 he knock off... hehe.... jus wan him to hug me on the way home, hahaha....

the sweetest ting

i reali wana express my thanks n gratitude to my 2 GAs tt were with me on 1 of my big clients in 06/07. JN n KG - u guys reali gave me an unexpected surprise n made my day today!

all started on msn with JN (nick was Anybody interested to go Siem Reap, Taiwan or Hokkaido next year?wow!! plannin for next yr?") :

JN: yup. not free wor. eh.... wanna have lunch tog?
me: (checking who's online) aiya, KG nt in ofc...if nt can lunch tog. cos me fri last day (tink there is timing diff, overlap of msg at tis pt, so the lunch qn timing was weird)
JN: har? where is he? ask him come back la
me: hahaha.. serious? i duno where is he, ahhah
JN: u call him la. hehehe... think he will miss ur voice lo
me: huh? hahha, paiseh ask him cm back leh.
JN: aiyo... tmr u LAST day wor.if he's too far then no choice lor

so tt's hw it all started... went to call KG n then arranged to meet at mrt there. walked over to the jap food tt's beside the Change Alley's Subway, bt then the set meal was lk at least $11, so i told JN too exp le... then she call KG to come dwn fm ground level n we walked over to UOB's Sakae Sushi (JN's suggestion).

had a wonderful lunch!!! din noe Sakae got new menu, so we ordered new stuff to try. first time i eat so many red plates, hahahaha... then KG mentioned that Starbucks giving free coffee at 4pm later, so we made plans to meet n go take fm the OCBC Starbucks later. skip work! hehehe...

they insisted on treatin me to lunch, n i was so touched, cos i reali din expect them to do it for me... i asked JN hw much was lunch, n she say forgot liao, tho we only walked 5 steps fm Sakae..... AWWWWW... they reali r nice ppl..... miss working with them cos we r all fm diff units....

went to closing meeting tis noon for e NT client, mind wasn in the meeting anyway, hahah... then the client commented "so i hear u r moving over to __ ?" wow, out of nowhere he shoot tis. its was lk "errr....", then my mgr quickly say "ya, we r still looking into it", ahahhaha...

oh well, i din get a chance to tell her directly yet, cos she went overseas wen i made the official decision. n tho she is the people manager for our unit, she din play a part in my transfer cos my transfer went through by the direct referal short cut. so was a bit pai-seh tt she had to know it fm the client's mouth. oh well....

oh ya, received sms fm AL today, askin wana meet her for tea-break anot cos she comin to town area 4 an interview. so she tot can bring me over c her bridal shop too. bt timin was diff cos i got to go to the closing meeting (4.30pm reach client's place) and duno wat time the meeting ended oso, so had no choice bt to meet her another time. which was a gd call, cos in the end the stupid draggy meeting ended ard 6.45pm. so much things to talk talk talk, yak yak yak...

i'm gonna transfer

officially accepted and confirmed that i will b transferring over to RAS unit w.e.f 10 dec 07, following my last day on 7 dec 07. promotion n bonus terms look ok, they gonna downgrade me 1 level, bt the pay is downgraded 2 levels, hahaha.... oh well....

no one seems to bother to counsel me at all, so then forget it loh. i dun wana talk to u either. wat logic ist tt sm1 who tendered on fri (wee hrs) get called into The Room on Mon morn vs me who is on last wk of notice is neglected? wat logic given tt tis person is the same grade as me? wat logic ist tt tis person takes over one of my biggest client in 06?

So wat. tis person is leaving oso.

cant wake up in time agn

bleah... cant wake up in time agn today, so din go work agn... sigh... tink cant finish this NT job le, gonna b so stressed wen go dwn to client's place tom with the GA...

nothin much progress on hse n banquet today. have to decide whether to go 2 e weddin show by carlton tis fri, which starts at 6, bt dear cant make it in time... also, it costs $28 per couple cos includes a 5 course dinner by Wah Lok restuarant. in terms of perks, i tink its jus winnin one nite stay in the presidential suite, so not much incentive to go leh. prob more impt to fix an appt to meet up with the coordinator to see the site n tentative book b4 fri, cos fri sure got a lot of couples will book le... i need gd lucks!!!!! gimme lucks!!!!

oh ya, called up HR today to ask abt possibility of backpay arrangement, n HR say they cant help on it. then the HR gal proceeded to tell me hw unlikely it is tt HDB will grant me the loan, considering tt i earned so much for the past 11 mths. she also said "u earnin so much, dun buy HDB la. if so easy to cheat HDB (ie govt), then all the ptrs all stay HDB liao. buy EC la." i noe she's a nice n chatty gal, bt i feel so disappointed aft hearin wat she said. cos many ppl told me tt too.... m i reali quiting to no avai??? feel v sad... cos they r willin to negotiate with me to make me stay on in the firm... sigh....

so called up lian to hav sm gal chat theraphy, ahha.. then she said she v bored at hm too, so many mths nv work. n smhw the gd job mkt doesn translate to many interviews 4 her leh. she also mentioned that the HDB ting is a case-by-case ting, hope they had nt becm stricter in the past few mths.... :(

anyway, we chatted for a long time, duno got 2hrs anot, ahahha.... talked abt me cant find hotel n her interviews etc... then she went off to hav dinner wif her hubby...

oh me checked up the "fiance fiancee" thingy le, cos dear kept askin me who is who n hw to pronounce, hahaha... so the ans is : pronounciation is the same for both words, with fiancee refering to the gal, cos the french hav a gender specification in terms of spelling.
