"heavy" weekend
** argh... lost my original post due to connection errors n got no drafts saved. below is a based-on-memory version**
finally... our biggest furniture r settled.
spent saturday walkin ard sungei kadut area, bt din manage to find any cheap stuff. the stuff there r lk the prices we saw outside. except for a sofa set tt we r aiming, which is gg at $350 (w/o transport n installation) at TPY, is gg at $300 (w/o the same charges). since the price diff is so small, we din buy fm tt shop. in the end we left sungei kadut with only the bedframe + mattress at brighton as a potential shortlisted. went to lot1 seahorse, because wana compare seahorse storage bedframe n its mattress. was told by salesperson tt the mattress tt we wana buy is 10in thick n cant fit into e storage bedframe tt we wana buy. so seahorse is out. anyway too tired to return back to sungei kadut so we jus had dinner ard my place n pop by ikea a while cos got sale.
so sun went TPY to buy sofa, bedframe + mattress, aft a long-drawn bargaining with lil effect, ahhaha.. anyway decided its better tt all buy at the same place cos easier so even tho the mattress we bought is luxury model, its more exp than the seahorse mattress. another factor is seahorse stuff dun hav wty. then pop by courts n found out tt the breakfast table tt we wanted is no longer selling. sobsss... gonna hav to look for alternatives liao

chiong ah!
today chiong to spotlight cos got member sale, 20% off storewide, including sale items. so we aim to buy the curtains tt we browsed through mths ago (cant rem wen). so we spent lk 3 hrs ??!?!? at spotlight, finally managed to buy the following:
- 2 black rod sets. 1 for living rm, 1 for master bedroom. spent lk half n hr or more to decide whether to buy this or to buy the pre-packed set with rod n curtain inside. in the end, bought the seperate rod, cos feel lk the pre-packed's curtains not really match our theme.
- 2 curtain sets. agn, 1 for living rm, 1 for master bedroom. both r the same design, jus diff colour. choose a brownish gold for the living rm (look more atas), n a beige one for master bedroom (more airy n clean feel). took v v v long to decide on tis, cos we spent some time to choose the colours, then realised our rooms too big for the curtains. which meant tt 2 panels for one room is not enuff, there will nt b any "body" a.k.a ruffles on the curtains cos they r stretched to the max n flat flat one. those tt r big enuf for our rooms r too exp, sorta lk the custom-make prices, which defeat the purpose cos then we can choose the fabric slowly n ask ppl to measure etc (instead of rushin to buy at sale).
din manage to buy the short cafe-style curtain to cover the pipes in the living room (too tired liao) n the blinds for small room (ikea cheaper). all in all, satisfied with the buys abv cos got 20%!!! kekekeke!

mc today. dun feel lk workin. since stil got the stupid sore throat for lk 2 wks le. oso tom startin the stupid insurance job which is gg to b xiong, cos kip tellin me to finish in 2 wks. wa lao. so jus take mc n go chinatown to look for pyjamas. the prices there are lk 3x compared to the TPY's. amazing loh. abt 10+ shops all sellin ard the same price. oh well, at least managed to buy a red brolly at $5 n some more red ribbon at Golden Dragon. which saw cheaper ones at the 1st floor. oh well.

shoe tots
oh wow, jus counted the shoes tt i own - i got 17 pairs of shoes! bt i dun consider myself as a person with a lot of many many shoes to wear for diff occasions leh. so funi. the number feels big, bt i dun feel tt i hav a lot of shoes leh. instead, i feel lk i always wear the same few pairs leh. mayb because it's lk familiarity breeds contempt? hahahah....
btw, its nt tt i too free n go count the shoes. its cos wana plan/think hw big the shoe cabinet shld b, cos thinkin go buyin the slim cabinet concept, where shoes are nt in boxes n placed vertically. bt seems lk nt a feasible idea if me alone already hav 17 pairs loh ;p

bintan PS + mc today
today mc. the flu n the cramps is jus too much man.
anyway, update on the past few days stuff:
thurs - lobo the whole day, waited for stupid client to provide the outstanding. which she give at 430pm, a simple email. wa lao. then i got to rush out the stuff cos is the last day of field. then finish work at 715pm (without lunch! cos tt place no lunch!!) n rush to the nails place at taman jurong. the maid v nice, cook cup noodles for me to eat. waited a while then is my turn for the nails. did express mani + pedi + french tips + 2 toe nail art designs. included buffering, 2 coats of polish n cuticle oil, n oso spray the express dry thingy on me. tho no dryer on the nails la, jus sit n watch tv loh. did until 10pm, then realised i wore the black patent peep toe shoes, cant destroy the pedi leh. then she v nice, lent me her slippers. reach bus stop ard 1010pm, waited v long for the shuttle bus to mrt. reach hm ard 11. hav to wait sm time to wash hair. asked mum to help me wash, hahaha... then pack bag n prep for tom's bintan trip!
fri - wake up at 630am. left hse ard 645 to go digio tampines. met dear at city hall mrt, bought mac bfast at tampines interchange. took shuttle bus to digio, reach ard 745. light drizzle rain. hopin tt bintan no rain. make up + hair n left for tanah merah ferry terminal. cab ride there was $8. waited at lobby for abt an hr, cos the ferry is the 1110 one. wa, so many kids loh. n they get to board the ferry first. was afraid will kana sea sick, cos din eat much in the morn. ate my halls sweet n tried to sleep. reached bintan n it was sorta grey sky, cos got rain there in the morn too. proceeded to the kelong n changed to the green EG.

took pics at the small hut at the kelong, at a corner of the hut, along the long wooden "road" of the kelong, sm pics of wearing shoes. weather v cooling!! cos aft rain mah, bt sky lookin better liao, got nice clouds.
then changed to the casual look - the short white puffy ROM dress. super comfy attire with the cute ballerina school shoes n the white shorts. proceeded to the mayang sari resort and took various locations:
- took outside a spa area. sm pics of playin with flowers in a pool, sitting on stone stools, sitting on a small pond area.
- against a large stone craving wall. sm jumping shots here, i tink. ahahah
- outside at the balcony of a deluxe resort. shots of leaning down on my hands etc.
- sitting/lying on a net hammock. kekek, stole sm resting time. heh!
- proceeded to the beach. sun's comin out liao! had sm runnin, jumpin (most xiong. man! abt 20 shots or retakes), n sittin on dear's shoulders. drew heart in sand. took sm back shots. sm leap frog shots. super thirsty man. sun super big n super tan liao.
- went to the lagoon, bt took at sm sand mountains first. got shots of on the winding road, then we requested to climb up the sand mountains for sm arty shots.
- took sitting down shots at the lagoon. oso took sm at the rd.
- end of day! went to ferry terminal to change n took 530 (SG time) ferry back. henry drop us at tampines mrt, had dinner there (found out my fav mutton soup gone, sobs). went home.
- sat : went to meridien view the Ruby setup, tok to April abt impending schedule. went to PS shop ard. met dear's frens for dinner at Cuppage Waraku n showed them the ROM albums. din get to meet the CGS gang cos they left early. then aft dinner they went to emily hill for drinks until abt 2am.
- sun : feeling super sick n feverish. din go to Meridien to c the Victorian theme. slept n ate dinner at dear's hse.
- mon (today) - mc loh. hahaha... 2 days! later gg for dinner with dear to celebrate, hehe.. nothing exp la, he wanted international buffet at furama loh. bt dun wan la. jus simple can liao. gg to anchorpt then ikea for sm feel of hw much furniture costs.

fri e 13th
today is the first day i'll b alone at the changi logistic hub since the US client left already yest. today sup to the final day of the work, bt got so many left i dun tink i can finish today. gonna overrun, which is troublesome cos my mgr nt replyin my emails (jus found out tt she went overseas assignment) then i dun wat to do... arghhhhhhhhh... lost n confused. smmore lk got misunderstanding bet the US client, US interoffice n us loh, on the length of secondment.
anyway, tuesday (10th june) was my SG photoshoot. the day went smtin lk tis:
9am - reach digio for makeup n hair. dear tried his suits, which he din get to try wen i went for final fitting last thurs (5th june). there was this cute dog tt was there with his owners to take photoshoot with them, haha... he was a v steady dog. no hyper, v calm. jus walk ard, stare at u n walk away, hahah...
anyway, tuesday (10th june) was my SG photoshoot. the day went smtin lk tis:
9am - reach digio for makeup n hair. dear tried his suits, which he din get to try wen i went for final fitting last thurs (5th june). there was this cute dog tt was there with his owners to take photoshoot with them, haha... he was a v steady dog. no hyper, v calm. jus walk ard, stare at u n walk away, hahah...
?? am - haha, then lost track of time. we brought lotsa props too. went to rent a white lace brolly at $10, bought bubble gun at $15, brought along the precious moment crystal ball, soft toys, n even mahjong set which forgot to take out in the end, ahhaha...
anyway, for the pics is take the AD WG first. then is the champagne coloured gown, which looks v beautiful n the the award-winning design fm Her World Brides. shall post the pic fm my final fitting one:
then is take pics for the AD EG, which is shocking pink with black details.
love the backless look!! they help to add a diamondnite strip to hide the ugly beige net seam.
at abt 4pm, we left the studio to go SG outdoor shoot in tis gown:
first place went to is city hall mrt, cos tt was the place we first met each other. hehehhe... a lot of ppl look at us. got one bugger took out his hp n took our pic rite in our face. stupid person.
then we proceeded to dempsey there, took at a church first. sat on the grass in front. pokey grass at my thighs... then is at an old hse. kana bitten by numerous times on my arms n legs. its lk 20+ bites on my left arm loh. argh. took pics inside and outside the hse.
aft tt, is jus a drive opp to botanic gardens for the waterfall n the white porch. met another 3 couples there takin pics also, hahaha...
last place was to the fullerton area in my purple gown, to take the bridge n the museum nearby. also took sm pics by the river, backdrop against the boat quay stretch of shops.
its sup to hav a can can to fluff it up, bt during final fit no can can avail so the pic is w/o the can can. anyway the can can broke on tt day loh. so i walk ard with a plastic strip stickng out. so nan kan.
so tt ends the photoshoot day, we reach back digio ard 7, then change n remove makeup, pay $ n left for dinner. was quite disappointed wif the pictures cos more posey posey type, nt the carefree n special type tt we wanted n saw fm other albums. shall use the bintan trip to make up for it then...

a moment to remember
tis is such a great show. its a korean movie tt was remade from the japanese drama serial "pure soul", and it was soooo touching and loving. i cried on a fri nite for the second time in a row.
the story is abt the beautiful love of a young gal n a construction worker that rose to an architect. the courting part was so sweet, cos the construction worker was such a rough n tough guy, n the gal was the sweet gentle type. they got married, n had dreams of building the perfect house by hand from scratch. the guy even told her that he eyed that plot of land tt was on top of a hill for 3 years already.... then the young gal discovers that she has Alzheimer's disease. then the sad part came when she starts to forget her love and her family. on bad days, she cant even take care of herself. one day she calls her husband by the ex's name, n her husband stil responded to her. behind closed door, he cried n was hurt because he does not know who she really loves. that afternoon while going through old pictures (which her husband stuck all over the house with post-it notes explainations), she recall the present and wrote a v v v touching letter to her husband, saying sorry for the morning events n that she love only him. she said she will never forget him, because he is always a part of her. in her heart, in her smile, all around her. n then she left the house without waiting for him to come back.

paint! gown!
wa, painted lk siao yest. gonna rent out tis comin sat so a lot of stuff need to finis up. paintin the gates sucks man! shoulders n hands n neck all achin ah.
anway, today went to choose gowns. took leave for tis man. in the end, chose 7 gowns for myself:
1) AD WG (beaded, white)
2) PS indoor WG (brown - award winning one wor!)
3) PS indoor EG (purple, corset look-a-like)
4) AG EG (shocking pink, chinese collar with black details)
5) PS Bintan EG (lime green, full beaded)
6) PS Bintan TD (white, short ROM dress)
7) PS outdoor SG (white, with green ribbon)

dear's make up day
is today loh, ahhaha... since last wk he promised to make up to me for gg out with his frens for 2 nites str. so tonigt we MUST hav quality n private time!! hahah...
met him aft work at aldephi (i walked fm ofc) n we went to eat burmese fd. learnin fm the experience last time, i ordered the safest non-spicy dish. in the end, its lk eatin bee hoon soup for sick ppl, except tt its salty loh. sianz, everytime go there oso end up with not nice food :(
then we walked to boat quay area, lookin for winebos. was sup to go another place for drinks, bt since i last min work kana sai thrown at me, i met dear late n so we missed the happy hr loh.
anyway, had a hard time lookin for winebos! crowd was rowdy n noisy (got drunk ang mohssss) n our table feels lk we r being gawked at in the zoo. so we left n went over to central for coffee. my legs were breakin already, since i walked fm raffles to city hall n back to boat quay. dear had norm hot coffee and i had this at TCC:

one mth weddin anniversary!

pizza was nice, refreshin combi of havin cucumber on pizza, hahah... bt the pasta super sucks. was dry n the fettuccine was hard!
aft dinner, we walked all the way to centrepoint to take a look at harvey norman. realised the prices of the furniture means that we will never ever (for tis hse at least) buy fm there. mayb electronics reali will b cheap with the manager's help bah, duno....
then we walked all the way to take 64 at the bus stop before liang court. my legs r cryin, screaming n breakin already. plus takin the Hans peach tarts n makin sure tt they r not crushed is no easy feat man. in the end, ate the tarts at my hse, ahhahahha!

dear stayed over
last nite, cos initially i told him i'll b alone at hm when parents go wake overnight. since also need to buy paint fm the shop downstairs today, it was easier also.
so today, we took the car n bought paint over to the new hse. choose lily white for the walls of all the rooms and white for the ceiling and kitchen. also bought mahagony brown glossy paint for the gate and doors. wa, super sweaty and tiring today to paint man. dear did most of the painting n i cleaned up the walls n paint the smaller parts. then i went hm to bathe, wash hair n went over to the wake.
tommorow is the crematation already. one week of mourning had past.

the passing away
of my da jiu ma...
tis mornin was awaken by repeated phone calls n turns out that my da jiu ma had passed away during the nite. so called up parents n inform them. since already planned to go new hse as dear's parents wanted to take a look at it, i proceeded with the plan loh.
dad borrowed car fm fren n picked me up fm hm. then went over new hse a short while. dear fetched parents hm and to the wake n then went back to new hse to ferry his parents hm. so we had the TPY kway chup for dinner n then we went over to courts to look at furniture (got sale ad on newsp mah). then i went hm to change n go over to wake with dear.
was thrilling 4 dear since he get to drive the car ard the whole day, hahahah....

busy with house
is on ISL job, so is v near new hse. so wat hap was yest aft work, went over to new hse to see see look look the condition so can noe today start work on where and what to buy. so had a quick pop by at the hse n dear left to meet D, E and L for dinner. me n parents went hm fm hse.
today, we started scrapping the walls and puttin wall putty at areas where there are cracks or holes. so us + parents spent a lot of time and sweat tryin to tidy up the place also. aft tt, we went over to have dinner at redhill market n took the free shuttle to PS to go Spotlight n look at curtains. nearly bought the curtains n the rod, stopped cos decided to re-measure the window (seems lk the window until the edge of the wall n so cant choose the rod with a design as finisher?). better still, since i cant make up my mind on the colour of the curtain tt i wan. then dear left to meet his scouts frens so me n parents went hm fm PS.
got a bit pissed on the bus, since he made no effort to spend quality time with me n was late in reaching the new hse today. anyway, we din reali speak to each other the whole day oso. he replied he will make it up to me next wk. oh well, we shall c then....

hse keys
went for mpc in the mornin, then check hse n sign the docs at hdb. forgot to bring marriage cert, so its smtin we need to follow up n send a copy to them agn.
feelin a bit down now cos
1) we had a lengthy argument/discussion abt the contribution rate to the hse expenses. which started cos one qn we discussed at mpc was "my partner is stubborn abt certain topics". to which i said he insisted tt things shld b 50/50. coupled with the thing tt we need to decide on the giro for the utilities, tis topic bcm an overhangin issue in the air cos we din get to discuss it aft the mpc. only got to discuss it on the way hm fm his hse aft dinner jus now
2) renovation on the hse will b a big overhaul cos a lot of things r too old. eg the pipes, the lights etc. sm things we dun even noe hw to hack/renew. gonna need to buy cement too, cos got holes in the wall. totally clueless now. cos its nt lk new hse where its easy to start fm scratch.
3) stil sick. kana blocked nose liao. oh ya, another irritating thing is tt i checked on my leave records on Tues n realised tt stupid HR deducted my annual leave for a missing mc on 29/10!!!! they jus deduct lk tt loh. i even checked in jan (sup account closing) to make sure past events/timesheets r cleared. arghhh.. n i had to recall which doc i went to (which i cant!!) so as to take a duplicate mc. in the end, checked my records n call e usual doc all drew a blank. last resort was to check blog. lucky got entry tt day n i knew which doc i went to loh. if its the ofc doc at Raffles Place i tink dun need to get duplicate mc liao loh, cos the branch closed liao n they r always so busy loh. wa lau, super angry at HR.

arguments
been havin arguments. started on wed wen we ad-hoc decided to meet, then decided to go ikea to discuss digio dates. had sent dear the proposed dates the nite b4, since had mentioned tt need to book dates for some time already. dear said since i got so many criterias i shld go propose dates n he jus choose fm the dates. which led to my email on tue nite.
since it was ad-hoc, he din print the email so we din hav anythin to discuss with. he started the conversation with a date tt is nt in the list, 7 days away, bcos he is on early shift tt day thus can save a day of leave. he did reply my email with tis date, bt as i was on course, i din access my emails.
then i started grumblin abt y he made me cm up with a list wen its nt refered to, cos i felt v unappreciated. n oso cos wen i did the list, i dun even noe hw to eliminate dates, so i jus chose mondays n fridays. then the whole thing escalated, cos he felt tt it shld b a discussion, so dates outside the list is acceptable. so the usual comments abt poor tone, attitude, tone, volume etc came up. guess wat - i spilled the drink on myself. n he jus sat there, smilin n playin with his ring. i retorted 'ya, jus go ahead sit there n play with your ring'. n he continued smiling. i stood up, n went to look for paper tissues. FURIOUS. cant he do smting? wen i walked back, he wasn even lookin over his shoulder or checkin on me.
i packed up my things into my bag. he asked 'r u gg to toilet?'. i said 'no, i'm leavin'. took my bag n walked away. he caught up at the bridge n we walked to Home-fix (bcos i had mentioned earlier tt we need to get paint colour samples). all the while he din say anythin to me. i said sparse statements abt paint n floorin n we left.
walkin hm, i cant take it n asked 'u hav nothin to say?'. he gave me face n said 'wat abt u? u walked off n until now did nt say anythin.' HUH!??! so we argued argued n wen we reached the rd, we stopped walking (he was nt gg to send me hm, as an agreement incentive to go ikea discuss) n continued arguing. at a pt, he walked inside, to the grass patch. i wasn hapi tt he jus turned off lk tt, so i made a face. he saw it n wasn hapi. i was lk 'nvm. so move in, ok i move in'. wen i walked in, he walked off n crossed the rd. i shouted back at him n he con't walkin off to his bus-stop. (?!?!??!?!?!?!!!!!??!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
i called him on hp, he say he got tell me he is gg off. its jus i din hear it. he din hear me shouting back at him. he's nt gg to turn back n cont talkin cos he is v du lan.
so the phone conversation con't until i was home. until he was hm. then he decided to stop there. to go bathe, eat etc n talk later at 1030.
1030 i sms him, tellin to meet online instead. cont abt the dates n the argument. wen he cant take it n wana slp, he rushed me. so i wrap up the issue. then he say gd nite. then i cont talkin. then he said bye n jus left the conversation. ?!??!?!?!?!??!!?!!!! he walked out on me a second time. sent him sms bt he no reply. i knew he went to slp already.
since there is no closure on the matter, the mood today was stil off. plus he was v busy at work n got issue fm a mistake he made yest, it was worse. wats worse was i forgot to call digio to book the dates so called him on my way hm to call instead. he was nappin. so he called then i wanted to change the dates tt he arranged, so there was even more tension. plus, his mum overheard him calling digio n started complainin abt the coat agn. he snapped n shouted back.
resultin in him nt wantin to talk, n me questionin.
sigh.

fell sick :(
sigh, duno y today nt feelin well. was sup to wake up early n prep go to mgr's hse for gathering. managed to wake up at 10, n prep n changed n all. then wen colleague was downstairs to fetch me, i started vomiting. twice. in the end too weak to go. sigh. felt so pai seh to the colleague, cos she got lost tryin to find my hse n went hm aft i called tellin her i'm nt gg......
then i slept thru the noon n woke up to cook a small portion of porridge for lunch. then eat med. then in the evening went over to dear's hse 4 dinner. discussed abt hse reno aft dinner. n came hm myself. me gd gal. cos dear was feelin v tired fm reservist n painful fm the sunburns.
lookin forward to getting the keys! hee! ^o^
then i slept thru the noon n woke up to cook a small portion of porridge for lunch. then eat med. then in the evening went over to dear's hse 4 dinner. discussed abt hse reno aft dinner. n came hm myself. me gd gal. cos dear was feelin v tired fm reservist n painful fm the sunburns.

first wkend tog
our 1st wkend tog :)
miss dear a lot. heard tt he kana v bad sunburnt yest. then wen i c him today then saw hw bad it was loh. he was totally red on the face, neck n hands. nt lk the norm red tt i usually sees aft he play soccer. the red is lk fierce red. lk over cooked lobster red. lk singapore flag red. n he kip tellin me it hurts wen he walk fm hm to mrt jus now.... so poor ting...
since i came out at city hall mrt to wait for him, we squeezed in the next train to bugis n i kana stepped by sm1 on my rite leg :( arghhh, duno y so many ppl in the train all standing by the door n so much space at the other side's door. then i tell dear wen i was takin mrt dwn to cityhall, sm1 stepped on my left leg, so today in the mrt i kana stepped on both legs! then he was so sweet to say 'let me make up for it' n kissed me! hehehehhee.... he's such a dear, even wen he's all red n in pain, kekeke!
anyway, we went to buy a pair of vintage couple tee n went to eat dinner at the hawker. $2 rice n wanton noodles! ok la, the portion is small. then we shopped ard bugis village n exclaimed at the poor quality n high prices of the clothes there. the rental there is v high, so prices r higher than elsewhere. even the same tee can cost $12 at one shop n $9 at another one further down. atrocious.
then we walked to suntec carrefour n looked at sofas n beds. dear sat a while on the OTO massage chair n i looked ard at the toys section. then we went over to marina sq to eat CHOCZ. ordered the choc fondue, milk chocolate with hazelnut paste. it was jus ok. not enuf chocolate. unlike the last one we ate at coffee club. n the choc was too hot towards the end, cos the candle was burnin a small volume of choc. sorta burnt my tongue.
came hm n forgot to take the thumbdrive fm dear, n dear walked back fm bus stop to pass me the thumbdrive with our ROM videos. then he went to meet his frens at Liquid Kitchen while i watched the videos. SO NICE to relive the moments agn. cried agn wen watching the solemnization part. hahaha....
nw waitin for dear to reach hm. its 2am n he's nt hm yet..... feelin sleepy liao. tom stil gotta wake up early to go mgr's hse 4 lunch.... hope he's nt so drunk til knock out liao... hmmm... gonna sms him n check with him... tata!

dear's in reservist
cant seem to conc on work today, spent most of the day on msn chats! hahahha... anyway, its club 530 today, which means everyone is to celebrate n go home on the dot. which means a unit party, which means catered fd. which was jus nice, since dear cant cfm whether can meet me as he nt sure wat time he can b dismissed fm reservist which starts today. so i jus had the catered food as dinner loh, cos parents meetin frens n went out early w/o cookin dinner.
then received dear's sms tt he cant meet me cos got nite parade. oh well. so then i decided to work late. which stretches til 9+ n i stil cant finis the work. mgr was nice n said she wana go hm already, too many nites no slp. then catering guy came to collect the buffet stuff, n i casually asked if can ta bao. to my surprise he said got put boxes there 4 ppl to ta bao, so i tagged along to c n oso ta bao a box of prawns back to eat.
ate the prawns while watchin tv, cos started to feel hungry already, ahhahaha... tom dear stil got reservist. so we can only meet in the evening, cos he estimate dismiss ard 2pm. then he go hm n change n do sm stuff b4 meetin me. lookin forward to meetin him tom... miss him lots....

back to work
hmmm, continued off where i left off last thurs - to review the manual done up and check for compliance and for any grammer n such. duno y was feelin quite tired, tho last nite slept at my own bed, plus took med so somehow i dozed off halfway in the afternn... (*_*) din even realised i had dozed off until my head nodded forward. dunno whether any1 saw tt anot... then had super hard time keepin my eyes open. plus body ache all over.... sobsss....

9 more hrs!
busy day today. woke up early n went to uncle mike there 4 blessing, followed by lunch at tpy lor 6 with parents n ah zai uncle. then mum went to cut hair n we went to deco the guest book. aft tt, i went with parents to fetch ah ma fm jurong to our hse to stay over. was rainin cats n dogs n we took a cab back home.
dinner was a nice meal at the 煮炒 stall opp the Mitsubitshi building near my hse, followed by a stroll to NTUC b4 heading home. started doin up the DIY stuff, lk deco the weddin vow paper, prep the guest book pens, pack the wedding bears n Precious Moments glass ball to place on the registration table. then i started on the beauty routine - wash n blow hair n make fake nails. also did up a notice memo for the guest book as instructions.
v nervous abt tom. hope i dun stumble over my words. hope no rain tom!!
its gonna b a long day!

workin late
been assigned to projects tt r havin v tight deadlines n only plot me for a few days to complete the work. feel v stress with so much work to do, n to work till late ard 10+ to rush out the stuff. sigh. feel v demoralised.
hw cm i mus hav tis fate to kana pulled into jobs in the middle n only give me 3 days to complete the work.... esp wen its the final countdown to my wedding, the last critical days where i need the sleep n the rest. sigh.
feel v demoralised tt the bosses dun undst tt. y??
nvm, at least it all ends now. tom is public holiday. no more work.
gonna concentrate on my wedding. final gown fitting tom!

went to ROM!
we woke up bright n early today to collect the ROM docs from the registry office. duno y we always kana the first slot one loh. Hdb first appt was at 815am n the registry office appt time was 830 am. since they give us an hr slot to complete the whole thing, we decided to reach at ard 9am instead. go so early later oso nothin to do mah.
was exciting doing the swearing and declaration of information and details (eg above 21, not previously married etc.) n took lotsa pics too, hahahha!!
aft tt we had bfast at Mac @ Funan and went to Popular at Bras Basah to buy the guest book. finally able to find one tt is perfect! small yet elegant. formal yet classy. then i went facial at 11am n dear slept at the spare bed next door, n we had lunch with auntie Jane aft tt at a quaint Burmese restaurant. my noodles were too spicy 4 me cos i cant take spicy food, bt tink dear's food was great.
next up on our packed 'things to do' was to collect dear's ring and to buy cloth. since it was still early, we decided to buy cloth. then as we were walking n talkin, decided to pop by Textile Centre to see if got cloth so tt do nt hav to walk until Arab st. wow! turns out tt the shop tt i've been wantin to go, tt sells fancy wholesale sewin knick knacks was there! so happy! bought crystals to deco my weddin shoes n crystal hearts to deco the guest book :)

happy fri
today my client treat us to lunch at the Liquid Cafe, which was jus a block away fm the ofc. wow, the whole finance team was there. even the EA team was there too. had a yummy scallops linguine with veggie soup, yums! bt the service was bad. extremely slow loh. there were only abt 13 of us, n we already pre-ordered by callin them beforehand, bt they stil cant cope with all the dishes. oh well. at least my linguine was gd. nt the same to b said 4 my mgr's baked rice tho. she ate only one spoon n stopped. n she said it was yucks. hahhahaha...
met up with Gay, Junie, Carrot, May, Anne and Dennis at Menotti for supper n to give them all the invites too. it was fun meetin up n eating sinful things, ahhaha! was Carrot's bday too, so we ordered a cake for her to surprise her wen she reach. unfortunately, the waiter took out the cake n had trouble lighting it up. so he was standing behind me tryin the light the cake in front of Carrot! busy day
wow, woke up v early yest n went to dye my hair for ROM. chose a dark golden brown colour so as to appear more natural. too light n my hair will look fried n dry n super unhealthy. bt wen aft dye hor, stil nt used to the colour leh. stil prefer my natural colour, hahahhaa... oh well, hope dye hair will look younger 4 ROM. paid $35 for the dye job, she din even blow dry my hair n i got to go hm n dry it myself.
then in the noon rush down 4 e marriage preparation course, and afterwhich, took the free shuttle bus to Plaza Singapura and walked around there. Then we walked down to Far East, back to the shop we went on fri to sell my hp. asked ard a few shops ard there, bt none as gd a offer as tt shop. so we sold it to the same shop.
so fm now onwards is using my dad's old phone hahahha... dear say it looks lk a brick ;p

great!
on leave today. was a long day. slept at 2+ yest coz cut n fold the invites til v late last nite.
tis morn hav hdb first appt at 815am, so had a hard time wakin up :(
was cold in the morn too, since it was rainin. worried its gonna rain on 23rd. pls pls dun rain!!!!
anyway, was a shock tt we hav to pay 23k within 10days. then the remainin 40k at the second appt. tot is all the COV at the second appt. so it was all financial stuff, lk hw to split the mthly cpf.
aft hdb, we rested a while at dear's hse cos he haven ate bfast yet. then we made our way dwn to meet AL for lunch n give her invite too. she lent me her mum's ring pillow, which looked v nice. thanks gal! had an exp chx rice lunch, which wasn v nice either. cost $22 for 3 person, cos of the tofu. treated AL to lunch, since she so nice to lend me ring pillow. if nt i'll hav to DIY, hahaha...
then we took bus to tanjong pagar to pass the invites to LSF, n tong bang GP's invite with her. bumped into dear's old colleagues, n he was lk 'wa lao', hahahhaha...
walked over to digio. felt v sian, cos i dun tink wil find smtin i lk. indeed the dresses were the same. so tried sm n dear help take pics with his hp. then wen i was changin, i heard another woman usin the fittin rm behind askin if she can take pic of her WG n was rejected by the fierce lookin woman who said 'no photography allowed unless u cfm ur gown already'. WA!! then i felt v paiseh, cos i take so many times liao.
then wen i changed out liao, dear whip out his hp agn. n i stopped him. n he was confused, hahaha... then amanda went upstairs to take another gown, n i signalled him over to the gowns area. n pretend to touch a gown n whispered to him wat hap, n he undst. then i realise - eh, the gown i was touchin looks nice leh. jus tt its spag la, so look a bit LC, hahahha... anyway, decided to try it.
AND IT WAS NICE!!!!
so tis is the gown tt i'm takin! hehehe... loved the back!!! so hapi!! turns out tt tis gown is not Digio's, is the GHA Tampines one. so amanda hav to wait til tom to check whether any1 usin tis gown on 23rd with GHA. my backup gown is the pom pom purple roses one, which din take pic, cos wen i wore it, the woman behind was rejected her foto request, ahhaha...
rechoose flowers to match the gown, n dear oso changed fm tux to a simpler jacket. aft tt, we went over back to tanjong pagar plaza where i went to Wen's hse to drop invite n as we were on the way to the bus stop hm, i saw tis v cute pair of rubber shoes. best ting? $4 only, hahaha... left one pair so i took it!
we decided to go hm put the stuff first, rest a while then go buy weddin shoes at anchorpt. v hapi tt the pair i wanted was stil on sale :)
proceeded to ikea to hav free coffee (hehhee!) n discuss the hdb financial plan n oso our mpc 'homework'. realised tt it was too noisy 4 us to discuss the mpc, so proceeded with e mpc stuff. calculated out everytin so its all split half half.
phew~~~ wat a lonnnngggg post. well, its a long day mah. bt hapi! my gown is settled!!!!

mpc
dear came over to lido n we had kfc for dinner. then we decided to walk ard, n i dragged him to clarity cos wanted to c how the actual ring with side design looked lk as we quite cfm want to make tt ring for the guy. tis is hw the ring (for the guy) look lk:
bt then dear din wana walk into the shop, so he was angry cos he said the lady boss recognised us n was lookin at us fm inside the shop (which had closed). so with an upset mood, we decided to go home.
at my hm, in my rm, we had argument abt the guy's ring n the prices. he said i tok too loud n i was unhapi abt the progress of the rings (he placed order for the lady ring with YT yest aftn, since they said can collect on 18th). so then came the usual ting abt me not apologising, me being too 'ba dao' during arguments etc.
tis morn had to go Zhou Kitchen at 11am to site-view again n discuss abt power sockets etc. was rainin in the morn n dear left hm late. so i slowed tings down n i was late in meetin him at anchorpt. then he tried to say helo to me wen walkin on a narrow pavement with overgrown plants, so i said later, since i'm carryin laptop n holding umbrella at the same time. then he started sulkin abt hw i rejected him....

then came the episode abt me give him black face at Zhou Kitchen, n hw we ended up leavin the place at 1245pm n sup to reach MPC at 1pm. so i was v stress since need to eat lunch n go dwn in 15min. he decided to take mrt, n as we were walkin on the way, 64 past us. then the anchorpt shuttle bus to mrt. by nw it was 1250. so i got aggitated n said take cab.
lunch was a small bowl of fishball mee gobbled down. then rush to mpc. we're the last couple to arrive, bt nt the last one in the rm, cos there was another couple doin the PREPARE inventory outside.
so during the mpc, couples were light-hearted n talkin while the both of us were nt in a gd mood. n it felt meaningless to me. sigh. then i started tinkin y m i doing all these. shld i b doin this? m i makin the rite decision? as the course goes on abt differences n conflicts, i felt more demoralised. it was only towards the end of the course wen we go through sm sharin activities then the feelin got let go.
as we were doing our PREPARE inventory aft the course, the coordinator left us in the room to ans the qn. then dear said hello to me agn :)
so all's well agn (* v *)

the bus i took home smelt of stale pee. salty n sour. i find it so hard to bear!!!

its the leap year's date!! feb 29!
feels lk living history loh, lk mus enjoy tis day to the fullest cos it comes only once in 4 yrs! hws my day gonna b lk? hmmmm....

*bleah*
fell sick yest. duno y was so giddy n nausea n the stomach sooooo pain loh. in the end i went c doc in the aftn, dear accompany me. then stil cannot, at nite go c doc agn. n injection loh. butt so painful.
today feel slightly beta. decided to fully utlise the day n do smtin, even tho nt fully recover. went down to Digio to reselect a gown, cos the one chosen last sat was not white/cream. stil tink bride shld wear white/cream leh. so tt done, went wif parents to their frens' goldshop at golden mile there to ask abt the rings.
turn out tt the guy's ring is cheaper there compared to YT so we gonna make it there. mayb hav to tink more abt the design so tt it can match mine n yet stil look more unique than jus a plain band loh.

auntie jane
its been another long wk. n gettin more upset with my face n age n condition etc etc. so decided to go arrange for facial with auntie jane today. aft stoppin the treatments for abt 2yrs, gg back n talkin agn n catchin up was quite relaxing. nt to mention tt knowing my skin shld (MUST) improve helps to make me feel better. *hehe*
talked abt many things. most memorable one is tt her flat oso kana en-bloc! so she's also gg to move to a new hse soon. she even suggested we can go find contractors tog, since 2 person do shld b cheaper, ahhahah... oh ya, she also suggested buyin 'chak chio' to cover or lay over my ugly terrazo flooring at the henderson hse. mus rem to go check out the prices of tt wen i wana start on reno!

today is ren ri, which is chu qi. it is believed tt the 7th day of the lunar new year is humans' bday, so we eat lo hei on tis day to celebrate the bday.
managed to arrange a dinner lo hei with auntie, uncle n ah ma n tog wif my parents n dear. went to eat at fong ji at the maxwell area there, n broke news to them abt my ROM. sadly, auntie n uncle wun b able to cm cos they flyin to Denmark to visit my 2 twins cousins who r there on uni exchange prog. so only ah ma can cm. most prob arrange for her to cm stay over the nite before.

marriage prep
been readin up on the marriage prep courses since the last time we went to meet up wif JP n she mentioned tt it would b gd to go. so sent out a few emails to ask more abt the course outline, the prices n group size etc. tink we will go for the indiv one, cos more personnal. dear say if the gp size is small we can oso consider takin up the gp one too, cos gp one is cheaper. depends la, sm family service center ('fsc') charges the same nett rate for indiv n gp, jus tt indiv package gets more time spent with the counseller.
anyway, we r down to the following choices:
1) Hougang Sheng Hong
2) Daybreak @ Yishun
3) Tanjong Pagar FSC
oh ya, there will b $70 rebate upon completion of the course so stil nt so bad. bt the rebate is fixed, even if u take e most exp course it is stil $70. *bleah*

further updates on rings
decided to custom make the rings, cos it seems lk buying outside takes abt 2.5mths for them to get it in our sizes n it would b too late 4 tt. custom make can oso solve the prob of our rings havin to be one delicate n one chunky at the same time, hahaha....
went down to the wholesaler (is tt wats its called? dunooo ;p) n then they told us to get designs ready then they can make. they oso dun hav a lot of samples 4 us to choose, so its diff to visualise. ended up looking at many mags tt were there. went hm n surf online for designs n came up with these shortlisted ones:

rings rings rings
been lookin ard for rings, n goin to diff shops to look at designs n prices. seems lk the guys one r v simple n nt as outstanding or decorative as the gals. anyway, dear wanted a thicker ring design, smtin lk a particular tiffany design. bt cos my fingers so small, the idea was dropped. so mayb we try get smtin tt would b delicate 4 my fingers n a similar matchin one for his, bt thicker?

yay, wkend!
weee! wkend! gonna exercise the option n place deposit tom liao. appeal against hdb on the HLE went thru n we got the HLE, so tom gonna meet mr ang n sign the official documents liao. then mon can submit to hdb to approve. gonna bring my parents to take a look at the hse, cos they haven look at it yet.
$5k cheque tom. heartpain. hahahaha...
oh ya, we started lookin at possible ROM dates too. estimate another 3mths to get keys, so ROM hav to be before tt. got go bridal show on 5th to look at ROM packages avai, bt nothin 'reali super great deal' tier leh. so jus take the materials 4 reference loh. gonna hav to b more active to look into other places for the ROM. budget $500 seems too too low liao, hahahahha

lk got a lot
of stuff to do at work. then i feel so stress cos i duno hw to do those reports n summary. stil tryin to 'feel' ard the work, n hav to rely much on other jobs' avai info to do my stuff. tink the work tt i generated a bit 'kiddo' n nt up to standard leh. how how... feel lost leh. cos i join at weird time, din manage to get formal trainin abt wat to do. oso cos my position is nt entry-level, so the expected level of work fm me is higher. makes me more stress, cos i dun hav to foundation to do the work in the first place. stress stress.
bt i tell myself to relax n tink positive. at least i'm nt gg thru peak now. at least i can c sun wen i go hm. since many many yrs in january tt is nv a possibilty.
n i oso hav to thank my new job 4 givin me many opportunities tt would nv been possible before.

today is quite lobo. been readin up n doin admin stuff so far, n today hav to read up on next wk's client. so read up abt oil industy + JSOX. had a trainin in the aftn on JSOX too. got the impression tt my colleagues r v out-spoken, even in front of a mgr. hmmm... so diff fm my prev unit. no one dares to ans qn n jus look dwn wen any1 ask qn, hahahah...

new day at work
today is first day at work! so nervous, duno wat to expect. at least the hse ting is settled, can put my mind at ease to concentrate on work. my assigned buddy showed me ard the system n some of the workin papers. gonna hav to read up on sm prior trainin materials to familarise myself.
then laptop got prob, cant connect to wireless no matter hw long i tried/waited. so took the laptop to IT to service n wen i cm back, the ofc is empty n no1 ard to lunch wif. so dear saved e day n came over to eat wif me :) muacks!

we put deposit
for the hse today. aft much struggle and talks and considerations. its gonna b a huge cash over valuation, so we gonna hav to save up a lot for tt amt. heartpain abt the money. at least we can save up on the renovation cos nt gg to do much since stay for 3yrs only. anyway, we hav until the 15th to decide if we wana exercise the option. for the timebeing we can speed up on the HLE and stuff.

and i cant sleep.
lotsa tots on my mind. i miss dear. i wana hug him and feel him close to me. i wana tell him its ok and everytin will b fine. i wana share tis bittersweet taste with him now.
dun noe wat to say now............ went thru mani emotional swings today, rite up to now.
"wen u get something, u lose something" an old man told the korean drama leading couple this during the episode tt i was watchin jus now. he started with "there's no free lunch in this world" and ask the leading actress (who is the mistress) if she really wan her wish (which is to be with the leading actor). when she said yes and tt she believe they will b together, he said "u will get ur wish". n she was hapi to hear tt, tho the guy was skeptical. turns out tt she reali got to b with the guy, bt is thru swoppin souls with the wife (ie she is in the wife's body n vice versa). such is the twist of fate.
